When I am in Europe I often visit my old buddy Xaveria Hollander. She's in her 60's now, has gotten plump, and looks like a nice sweet Dutch grandma. I met her when I was in my late teens and she was working in NYC. Now in Europe, she's holding court and hosts one of the nicest salons and has the most interesting people in for drinks three or four nights a week. The whole of the Amsterdam / Dutch Liberal Political scene revolves around her and her mansion on Vondell Park!

She's still gorgeous to me, after all these years, too. She grew old graciously and gracefully and she's still as sharp as ever. She often jokes that the mansion on Vondell park was paid for with her legs spread. I believe her!
