A lot of the crew were partying in Hong Kong before getting on the ship. The outcome is not preordained. |

This ship is currently doing two week cruises between Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. the crew boarded last week, and traveled through Singapore and Hong Kong to get to the ship. They have sailed, but didn't pick up their scheduled passengers. It isn't an official quarantine, but the ship is conserving fuel out to sea with no passengers on board and the crew is using the term "quarantine". But on top of that, there are also many people who feel they just have a cold or mild flu and keep going out in public. Then there are some who say they had a cold a few weeks past, but then they are getting sick again with the fever. Like the virus damages the lungs, and then it takes a while for it to fester and become a deadly pneumonia. |
