Those Very long period charts have been shaking like that for over 5 days solid now. Not just lerwick either. All of them are shaking like mad. VLP charts indicate seismic activity at a great distance from the UK.

Not long now. whatever it is they're planning for, is winding itself up quite nicely!

If it were global disaster, the PTB would not go underground...on this planet. Alternative 3 would be a more likely scenario but keeping that under wraps could be masked by a regional conflict involving a MIRV attack near the launch point, effectively concealing the outgoing spacecraft.

With that said, I would think they are running out of places to store supplies. With all the flooding, & storms only just started! This season looks to be a harsh one too. Going to need dry food, for many of the displaced due to this years storms.......

My Uncle was a trucker. Shortly before his death ( 3 years ago )he mentioned he had been hauling trailer loads of commodities to some cave system in the Kansas City area. He figured the military was stocking up and it was all good.

Soldiers serve up amusing mixed reviews of military grub-in-a-bag

AUGUST 20--Next year, the U.S. military will begin production of a new line of Meals, Ready-to-Eat, those indestructible chow packages that help sustain American soldiers. MREs, which are distributed to servicemen during operations where regular meal preparation is not possible, are packaged to last for three years (or six months in 100 degree temperatures). The new MREs were developed, in part, after a late-2005 taste test involving 400 soldiers stationed at Fort Greeley in Alaska. Each serviceman involved in the field evaluation filled out comment forms, which were then compiled in a report prepared by Department of Defense officials. A copy of that entertaining document, filled with the blunt appraisals of junior Frank Brunis, can be found below. Eight complete meals were tested, with mixed results. One soldier complained that a chicken and dumplings MRE triggered, "a flatulence symphony in my tent all night." A stuffed cabbage MRE led one evaluator to exclaim, "The meal sucked! Do you even try this crap before you give it to us?" That same MRE also led another reviewer to write, "Don't ever give the stuffed cabbage to a soldier again, even POWs deserve better." One evaluator questioned whether the new MREs should actually be tested by non-military diners: "Soldiers will eat all of this nastiness no matter what, because we have to eat." Not all reviews were negative, however, especially when it came to a chicken loaf MRE with a tasty dessert. "The vanilla pudding is so good that I ripped it open. Licked the inside and rolled around on top of it like a dog," one enthusiastic soldier noted.

There used to be a law that said there had to be 3 years worth of food for every man, woman and child in this country stored up in case of attack or famine or whatnot. Last I had heard was that Bush had sold it all. Maybe he's restocking it. Food goes bad after a while so maybe this is just part of the natural turnover.

I've eaten 40 year old C-rations. I got food poisoning. (So did my entire Civil Air Patrol squad. You don't put a pallet of food in front of 13 year olds. They will dare each other to eat it.) You can't store them forever.

And I don't think this is for the elite. Have any of you ever eaten a MRE? They're horrible. No rich person would eat them if they had to. No, those are for the common folk.

If you ate C-rations, they were most likely out of date. C-rats are whole food stored in tin cans while MRE's are dehydrated and sealed in airtight packages. Anyone who has C-rations instead of the new MRE's is asking for ptomaine.

Yes they were out of date. The year on the cans was 1945. I was in Civil Air Patrol in 1981. One kid ate some on a dare and then called of us pussies for not eating it too. We were 13+ so we all had to do it. Some cans had things that looked like hockey pucks in them. We didn't eat those. We ate some brown stuff that looked like it was chili at one time. For all I know it used to be green beans. Spent a whole weekend with alternating puking and the runs. You never forget being in Civil Air Patrol.

Still wasn't as bad as that plane crash we found. But that's another story.

OMG, they are feeding the cavemen so they can come out and steal our women then take over the planet.

Mosr probably are disposing of them. They are NASTy as hell!! They are more than likely considered hazardous material. SO unlike most things the government does, in this case they really ARE protectin us!!!! (MREs have been know to re-materialize as aliens)
