Low pressure turning straight for Southern California

Today's Synopsis : There is a noticable circulation coming straight for the forecast area. We are on the North and East side of it, and this is the best side for dynamics in any of these low pressure centers. This was progged to go into Ventura, but it has made a curveball turn straight for the center part of Southern California.
If this happens Showers and Thunderstorms will be possible this Morning and Afternoon over the Coast/Valley/Mountain areas. Almost all areas will have a chance at seeing it, and yes even the Orange County areas.

This was actually forecasted by OWS back on August 23 on our model track discussion seen below: Keep in mind, NO MODEL predicted this track. All said vort would move either South into the Southern Pacific, or Northwest away from Southern California.

We were 75% confident in this scenario playing out, and we have upped it to 90% confident it will happen. Another day of OWS models showing a consistent track and we will have 100% confidence in the forecast. Right now this is what is going to happen.
Dean's Remnants will be moving off the Mexico Coast today, and moving toward the Southern tip of Baja, California. This will be rounding the High Pressure that will be moving South throughout the Next couple days, finally parking itself just South of El Paso, TX. What this will do is take Dean's Remnants on a North-Northwest track to the West of the Baja California area till it gets near Southern California.
Because it will be on the West-Northwest side of the High Pressure Center, this will ultimately bring it more to a North-Northeast track into the Southern California area itself, spreading rain about anywhere, with occasional showers and thunderstorms.
Depends on just how much debris clouds are associated with the Remnants will depends on how powerful the thunderstorms are however expect showers with these clouds.
Because of the vorticy being rather potent, the good chance of nocturnal, or night time showers and thunderstorms will be possible anywhere, with the Mountains and Deserts seeing the best chances.

So this will continue Brad. New information is coming in that an area of divergence aloft is responsible on the North and East side of this low. It is very typical with these setups. There will be a batch of showers and thunderstorms moving in over the day today, and even the coastal areas will see it.
Showers and storms are popping offshore as well on this update.

lol 177, I said NWS admitted to them not seeing it. Check www.climatepatrol.com OWS_Meteorologist Post, that is me. I saw this coming for so cal. Spraying had nothing to do with it.
