I do believe there is a God, but certainly not the same god as put forth by the Old testament of the Jews or the majority of Christians. Christ's truths have been manipulated to keep the masses complacent.

A belief in Jesus the Messiah is not same as a belief in a Creator/God. It's one thing to argue for a belief in a Creator, but then to imply that a belief in a Creator is the same as or should lead to a belief in Jesus the Messiah, that's where you go off track.
