Why do some here not belived in God? "My people are being destroyed because they don't know me....Hosea 4.6,"...and what would it take

I just would appreciate knowing why some people just can't believe God really is real, and is on the way back? Please express what it is that you can't believe that the God of the Bible is as real as many claim He is?

Revelation is symbolic and could mean absolutely anything to anyone. ANYTHING can be made to fit that old "scroll".

It is Kabbalistic/Essene in essence which means Christians who take it literally are missing the deeper meaning - in other words, they have absolutely no clue of what is really being "revealed", if anything at all.

I don't enjoy reading about the God of the Bible because he is not a good being. It is hard to respect someone as God who does not live up to the same moral code that I feel is correct and that my parents raised me to believe was correct. Jesus Christ is much more to my liking, however the Church/religion that was created in his name followed more the teachings of God of the Old Testament, with cruelty, vengeance, and war against unbelievers. Because the Church/Christian religion was not like Jesus' teachings, I never embraced it, and later on discovered that Jesus Christ was actually an invention of the Roman Emperor Constantine and Eusebius in the 4th century. That makes a lot of sense, because if Jesus was true and indeed wanted a church formed under his name, he would have seen to it that it was a good church, not one that did so much evil and caused so much suffering in the world as the Roman Catholic Church did.
Upon even further investigation, I learned that there is no spiritual law that would allow a man to die on the cross to absolve mankind of sins. Sin is not something you are born with. It is how you live your life and how you treat others that matters. How you live your life, how you learn and develop yourself is what determines the kind of heaven you will go to. Eternal life consists of continuing the lessons learned on earth and helping others the way we were helped, with an unlimited opportunity to learn, to grow, and to serve God in many different ways throughout the universe.
