because if we evolved from the apes there must have been some reason for us to have faced each other...there must have been a shift towards "attractiveness" in order for one to attract another...

and besides,it seems strange that there is such a difference..

When the first apeman had to hand over a 20 spot to the female for services rendered.

First humans did NOT evolve from 'apes' we simply share a common ancestor.

The Bonobo chimp frequently has missionary position sex, kiss and even perform oral sex.

Re: if HUMANKIND e4volved from APES...when did "we" begin to have sex facing each other ?
Thats easy...BOOBS, TITS. Human female are the only animal thats has breasts all the time. Almost all other animals only get Boob when they are expecting. This was the cause of humans evolving so quick. Males would spot likely mates by looking at their butts. By having a butt 'look-a-like'( her breasts ) help to talk to mates. This in-turn lead to 'talking'. Women where then able to put man to work, tell them what to do etc..
This is why men still have trouble looking at a women faces still to this day as it is in their natural instincts.

From apes of today? Yes.

Just pointing out that the Bonobo chimp has behaviors that resemble human ones in regard to sexuality that the OP thought was uniquely human.

All apes apart from homo-sapian sapian lack the creative capacity to learn a large variety of sexual positions.

While amusing, I think human females always appear sexual so that males never know when she can become pregnant so they stick around longer and develop social ties. She gives them sex, they provide food, shelter and protection. At least in the old days....
