I used to think I could trust my intuition and was a good judge of character but I have no explanation for why it failed me this time....... |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | the strangest thing... When my grandmother died, actually within a minute of her passing, I heard a kind of wind-like noise and the shelf in my kitchen came crashing down. No one else was home, the windows and door were closed and I was two rooms away. A half hour later, my mom called to tell me, and I cut her off saying "Grandma died, didnīt she?" It was just weird. |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My mother missed a flight by seven minutes because it had snowed the night before and driving conditions were treacherous. She caught the next flight that left for the connecting destination only 45 minutes later. Unfortunately none of our family knew about this. The flight she had originally been booked on crashed and everyone aboard perished. Being uninformed of this, she had just enough time to get to her connecting flight and meet up with my father who was on leave and meeting her in Hawaii. When she arrived at the Honolulu Airport, she deboarded the plane and walked out to find my father sitting in a section chorded off where there were people consoling each other and weeping. She walked up to him and asked him what had happened. She said sheīll never forget his reaction to this day. This didnīt personally happen to me, but it was in some ways unexplainable as to why she missed that flight, and lived. |

doglike 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It was a 1.5 hour drive each way to the hospital and I wasnīt sleeping very well. I was exhausted. On the way home this one night, I had been thinking how that I would switch places with my mother if I could. I thought, "God take me instead, I would give my life for hers" And a voice returned with "Of course you would, but would you die for him?" I knew the voice meant the young man, and I said yes, that I would die for him, but I didnīt really mean it. This was at the time that the MIR space station broke up and fell into the atmosphere. Just as soon as I said yes, I saw these 2 huge sheets of metal fall, one on the left and on on the right of me. I thought I should stop, but I was afraid too, Somehow I knew that if I stopped and got out to see what this was, that God would take me up on my claim. That boy died a few days later. |

I wasnīt there, but I can imagine his disbelief. I never had the opportunity to ask him about this. My mother related the story to not long after he passed. She led an interesting life. |

doglike 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "So you were sailing in the south pacific? Because thatīs where MIR fell." Thatīs what makes it unexplainable. I wasnīt trying to claim that parts of Mir fell near me, I should have made that more clear, but I have always thought that, that is what happened. Had I gotten out to get the metal, I would probably be dead right now. And donīt worry, you are not the only one who doesnīt believe me. My own brother laughed at my experience. |

MIR Watcher 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Doglike, Iīm not saying your story is false. Itīs incredible to say the least. Iīll stop hijacking this thread now with this. My unexplainable story........ I was pulling a 220V electrical line to feed a dryer. My partner hooked up the line to the breaker and let the power loose without my knowledge. Since I thought the line was dead I was working with two hands. And on top of that my head was resting on a metal laundry chute. I touched the two hot lines with my bare hands and 220V went straight through my chest and out the top of my head to the chute. No burns, no nothing. I should have been dead. Nobodyīs getting me this early in life :) |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I use to go fishing with this guy who use to work on power lines. He was up doing just that one day when for some unexplainable reason an arc of electricity, they figure from static buildup, came down and through him, came out of his nutsack and into the ground, completely avoiding his gloves and required footwear. If you are wondering, yes it blew his balls off. They werenīt able to reconstruct them, but thankfully he was left the full use of his penis. I know, wierd story but true. I know the guy personally. |
