I will accept any rules that you feel necessary to your freedom. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. ~ Robert Heinlein |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 297504 Canada 09/13/2007 05:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | many common grasses and other plants contain DMT, which in combination with certain seeds (MAO inhibitors) will last for a long time. It's all natural, Iahuasca is such a drink made from these ingredients. Check it out... DMT in the past has only been used by smoking or injecting. Oral use was completely ineffective. It turns out that ancient tribal cultures solved that problem aeons ago, and have been dosing up the whole time. Now that's technology. By combining plants that contained MAOIs (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) and other plants containing DMT, the DMT would become active orally. MAOIs block the destruction of DMT in the digestive track and in the brain. So, with MAOIs, DMT can be eaten and also becomes more potent. MAOIs also increase the potency of smoked DMT. The effect of the orally administered DMT with MOAI lengthens in time and decreases in intensity. Typical plateau period is 10-40 minutes, after a hour delay with low buzz for an hour after the plateau. Great for people who don't like the time investment of most psychedelics. Anonymous Coward User ID: 297504 Canada 09/13/2007 05:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | you can smoke Damiana, available legally [link to www.erowid.org] "I'm a veteran Marijuana smoker, I've been off the plant for over two years now. I've been interested in the 'herbal alternatives' like Salvia and Dagga (as the prospect of a legal high doesn't seem bad), but I haven't got around to purchasing any of them yet. Anyway, while browsing through an herbal alternative web-site, I came upon Damiana. This shocked me, because at the time I had an ounce of Damiana in my incense stash. I never knew it was used as a Marijuana alternative, though. Intrigued, I figured that it couldn't hurt to try smoking some and see what would happen. On the site, they compared the effects of the plant to a mild form of Marijuana. So, I rolled myself a cigarette of Damiana leaf. I wasn't expecting a full blast THC high, but then again, I didn't know what to expect. I smoked the cigarette. I found it very soothing. If I had to describe the effects, I would say that it induced a feeling of serenity and peacefulness within and around me. I felt like everything was okay. Nothing drastic happened, no hallucinations or stoned feelings. Just a general feeling of calm and well-being. This lasted for about an hour. It was very pleasant and enjoyable. I would definitely smoke it again for a calm, relaxed afternoon/evening. I wouldn't suggest this herb for others who are looking for Marijuana substitutes. To me, it's just not comparable at all, and will most likely dissapoint anyone who's expecting to get stoned. As a general smoking experience or Tobacco substitute, it would probably please just about anybody, though. Especially someone who's just looking to relax and have a nice, calm smoke. " |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 297504 Canada 09/13/2007 05:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | there is bhang Bhang (Punjabi: ਭੰਗ, بھنگ, bhaṅg) is a derivative of the leaf and flower of a female Cannabis sativa plant. It is used for making beverages and sometimes is smoked.[1] Bhang Ki Thandai (Hindi) is a drink popular in many parts of North India which is made by mixing bhang with thandai, any cold drink prepared with a mixture of almonds, spices, milk and sugar. A coin, ring or other small object made of copper is struck several times on a stone and dropped into the thandai. The traditional harvest of cannabis and preparation of bhang coincides with celebrations of Holi in March and Baisakhi in April. Certain erotic drawings from the Mughal period of India depict a couple having sexual intercourse while smoking bhang to enhance their enjoyment. There is a folk etymology that the traditional dance bhangra derives its name from bhang, but this is not supported. |
