B52 Nuke: Minot Air Force Base Airman DEAD ...
Minot Air Force Base Airman Died While on Leave.
September 14th, 2007
Remember the one about the B-52 bomber that, according to legend, had six nuclear weapons loaded onto it by accident, which, of course, could not have happened—by accident—for a dozen different reasons, or more.
Airman 1st Class Todd Blue was assigned to the unit that provides security for that bomber wing at Minot Air Force base. He died while on leave in Virginia. No further details have been released.
Was he on duty when those nuclear weapons were loaded onto the B-52, “by accident”?
I expected to see many more deaths of Minot and Barksdale Air Force personnel in the wake of this incident.

MINOT, N.D. — Minot Air Force Base officials say an airman from the base has died while on leave in Virginia.
A statement from the base says Airman 1st Class Todd Blue, 20, died Monday while visiting with family members in Wytheville, Va. The statement did not say how he died but said the incident is under investigation.
The base says Blue was a response force member assigned to the 5th Security Forces Squadron. He enlisted in the Air Force in March 2006 and was assigned to the Minot base the following August.
“He constantly stepped up to help out his fellow airmen and was a vital presence in squadron sports and volunteer programs,” Lt. Col. John Worley, the 5th Security Forces Squadron commander, said in the base statement.

"Why were the nuclear weapons sent to Barksdale AFB? If initial reports that the weapons were being decommissioned, but were mistakenly transported by a B-52 bomber, then the weapons should have been taken to Kirtland Air Force Base. According to Kristensen, this is "where the warheads are separated from the rest of the weapon and shipped to the Energy Department's Pantex dismantlement facility near Amarillo, Texas." However, it has been revealed by a reliable source that Barksdale AFB is used as a staging base for operations in the Middle East. This is circumstantial evidence that the weapons were being deployed for possible use in the Middle East." |

Cracking the nuclear code
"Broken Arrow" A nuclear weapons accident that does not risk war but involves a nuclear detonation or burning of a weapon and a hazard to the public
"Empty Quiver" The loss, seizure, or destruction of a nuclear weapon or the 'inadvertent release' of such a weapon
"Bent Spear" An incident involving radioactive contamination
"Dull Sword" A nuclear safety deficiency that involves minor damage to the weapons
"Nucflash" A nuclear weapons systems accident leading to possible detonation and the risk of war
does it all mean?? |

The Guardian
When you hear the cry "dull sword", you should start worrying. When you hear "bent spear", get your geiger counter out. Hear the signal "broken arrow" or "empty quiver" and it is time to panic. "Nucflash" and it's probably all over.
The codewords are contained in a short but eerie booklet leaked to the Guardian. In language reminiscent of the cold war, it instructs personnel at RAF Lakenheath - the US air force's largest nuclear base in Europe - what to do in the event of an accident.
The Nuclear Surety Guide comes complete with a multiple choice quiz. But it is deadly serious and far from an academic exercise. At least two accidents involving nuclear weapons have occurred at Lakenheath. Both were covered up at the time.
The most serious was in 1956, when an American bomber skidded out of control into a store containing three nuclear weapons. Firefighters were ordered to ignore the four crewmen of the bomber and douse the flames engulfing the weapons.
An American newspaper which quoted a retired US general as saying it was possible that "a part of eastern England would have become a desert".
Carefully prepared procedures are not always followed in such emergencies. According to one account, panicking military personnel stampeded from the base. One American airman dashed from the gates of the base to hail a taxi, telling the driver: "Go anywhere - just get away from here."
Five years later, a US warplane carrying a nuclear bomb caught fire. The bomb was "scorched and blistered", according to an official report.
Cyril Brown, local councillor for the area, said: "There is a mind-set of cover-up around the base. We have no way of knowing what has gone on."
The US air force guide, printed in March 1999, says personnel must be specially screened in a "reliability programme". Personnel are assured they will receive "nuclear surety training before they are given access to nuclear weapons, weapons systems, or critical components".
However, it makes clear that even without mishaps, nuclear stockpiles pose a danger. "Nuclear weapons," it says, "emanate a certain amount of intrinsic ionizing radiation."
The aim is to keep "exposure to a minimum, consistent with operational requirements".
Lakenheath, in Suffolk, is the base for the US air force's 48th fighter wing. Its website boasts the exploits of US F15 bombers - "the world's most awesome air combat power force" - over Serbia and Iraq.
Both the US Pentagon and the ministry of defence adhere strictly to a policy of neither confirming nor denying the location of nuclear weapons.
The guide confirms their presence at Lakenheath. According to the independent US National Resources Defence Council, 33 tactical nuclear weapons are stored there.
Perhaps it is some comfort that in 1995, the base was awarded a special plaque for "outstanding achievements" to nuclear security. |

B-52 Mistakenly Flies With Nukes Aboard
By Michael Hoffman
Army Times

A B-52 bomber mistakenly loaded with five nuclear warheads flew from Minot Air Force Base, N.D., to Barksdale Air Force Base, La., on Aug. 30, resulting in an Air Force-wide investigation, according to three officers who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to discuss the incident. |

Some of those stories are from July, the "incident" didn't happen until the end of Aug.
And even though a couple of those deaths happened after, there is nothing that links their names to the nuke incident.
At this point it's just a weird coincidence. But there's no evidence, that these airmen are dying for knowing to much. |

In 1968, Neil Young wrote a song called Broken Arrow. The phrase "empty quiver" is also in the song lyrics. Neil has said that he didn't know what the song was about, that it just came to him. Hmmm. |

Its all too coincidental...a murder mystery, nuclear weapons, Russia is flexing in the Atlantic, satellite failure, economic uncertainties, ect.
The USA is in its military prime. No other country can withstand US military might. And I fear the US governments projections for future power balances aren't pretty.
Seize the stage now. It's a great possibility.
Either there will be a nuclear terrorist attack before Bush leaves the Oval Office or US will commit a false flag nuclear attack from Russia and/or China. |

Plane found, but search goes on for Fossett's remains
In a remote mountain region of eastern California, rescue workers today discovered the wreckage of a light aircraft belonging to Steve Fossett, the record-breaking aviator who vanished just over a year ago.
Remains of Fossett's single-engined Bellanca aeroplane were discovered near the summit of a ridge 10,000 feet above sea level in the Ansel Adams Wilderness section of the two-million acre Inyo National Fores. Local Sheriff Jon Anderson told a press conference that no human remains had yet been found, but that his department was continuing to search.
Most of the aircraft's fuselage, which was made from wood and fabric, disintegrated on impact with the thickly-forested hillside, he said, but its engine was found several hundred feet away from the original scene of the crash, he said.
The exact location of the site was being kept under wraps yesterday. However it is reported to be roughly a hundred miles due south of the Nevada desert airfield from which Fossett set off on the morning of Monday September 3rd 2007, on what now appears to have been his final flight.
Searchers began combing the area after a local ski-shop owner, Preston Morrow, out walking his dog, stumbled upon several items of the 62-year-old adventurer's personal belongings in a patch of thick undergrowth, including two ID cards, a black sweatshirt, and $1,000 in cash. |
