I cannot find citric acid anywhere. Noone even know what I am talking about. What do I need to tell them that it is normally used for.

I also have addison's disease and thyroid disease. Has anyone had any luck with using mms for this. I stay sick alot and have severe depression.

You don't have to use Citric Acid only. I think you can use lemon juice or vinegar also. Just read what it says. When I do it, I'm going to use the lemon juice, I think.

I found it there in 4 oz and in 10 lb packs so I bought 2-4 oz
packs for a few dollars. Mix 1 tbls Citric acid to 9 tbls of distilled water. That makes it a 10 -1 solution.
I have been taking MMS for almost one month and am up to 15 drops. Had Diahrria one day when I took 4 drops, twice in one hour. No problem since then. Yes, I have been dealing with huge hormonal imbalances and I recently found out that I had extremely low testosterone levels. First, if I were pregnant or nursing I would not do MMS. Lets wait till we know a lot more about it. Also there is risk that toxins could come out the breast milk.

If you are working start by taking your dosage after dinner and before bed. Never take on an empty stomach. Start low with 2 drops. If you have lyme or something like that start with one drop. Increase each night as tolerated. Never increase your dose on a day you have to work. Eventually you will kind of sense your tolerance and you will be able to start taking it twice a day.

For thyroid issues go to www.HealthSalon.org and put iodine in the search bar and read all the articles that are posted there.

Arrow, I am not preggo now, but hoped to be so after getting cleared of this junk inside me. I was just wondering once healthy, do you stop the MMS if you become preggo? Also, have you tried the paradophilus he recommends? I read up on it tonight and looks verrrry interesting. I am 41 and don't have the luxury of waiting anymore to get preggo, so it's like get healthy ASAP, so that I can try and conceive. So I was concerned about relapsing if I get healthy and then stop taking it. Is this a "take it for the rest of your life" kind of thing? Thanks.

I don't think its the rest of your life type thing. Why don't you take 3 months and do a complete cleanses before pregnancy?

It really is an excellent program and the author was plagued by mysterious diseases before she figured it all out.

She recommends green drinks during the fast. Search Greens 8000 and get a canister or two of the Greens and Berry greens. They are detoxifying and healing. You should be able to do the MMS along in the same program.

I would like to tell you that I had thyroid nodules also, non-cancerous. One was so large that it poked out and was visible on my neck. I found that supplementation with iodine reduced it significantly. You can't see it anymore but I can just barely feel it. You can read about iodine supplementation at www.HealthSalon.org just put iodine in the search bar and articles will come up and there are links to some excellent videos also.

He writes informative and thought-provoking articles every week. Of late, many of them have been MMS-related.

As for Vitamin C and MMS, you shouldn't take the two close together. This is described in Jim Humble's Book 1. The Vitamin C slows down the chemical process and significantly reduces the efficacy of the MMS. I take my supplements in the morning and my MMS at lunch and/or at night, in order to leave several hours between the two. Vitamin C is very important for our health - just make sure you don't combine it with the MMS (check any fruit juices you are mixing with the MMS combo to make sure they have no added Vitamin C)

Arrow's website at www.healthsalon.org has lots of great testimonials and links now too. From a few timid articles last month, the MMS "phenomenon" is really gaining speed. There are lots of great sites and links to study. Thanks to all who post their testimonials and experiences everywhere, and even questions, because it keeps us learning about the potential of this "miracle mineral".

With MMS the nausea and vomiting is not a concern to me. If you are really toxic you will purge. Thats it. Should probably have happened a long time ago. People don't go through this daily. By adjusting the dosage and not taking it on an empty stomach you can avoid it altogether.

Vitamin C is not recommended when using MMS as they will work against each other. If you are at a place in your self treatment when you are taking MMS only one time a day take your vitamin c at opposite ends of the day..

For the person who took vinegar and now is on to aloe for colitis...
I have never heard of aloe vera tea. If aloe helps, and it should I would look for a better aloe product. Freeze dried aloe is the best. I also have my own large aloe plants and I take the gell from inside the leaf and put it in smoothies. Aloe is extremely healing to the gut. One of the most excellent treatments for colitis is ozone. You should also read Jordan Rubin's book "Patient Heal Thyself" He had deathly IBS or was it crohn's? He healed himself with diet and herbs, etc.

Both my husband and I have had reflux problems. It was a long convoluted journey getting over it. Bottom line, I think that most, (not all) is caused by digestive issues likely caused by some kind of microbe. We are both over it now for the most part. Stress is currently our strongest predisposing factor and it occurs only occasionally. I have every reason to believe at this point that MMS will help microbe problems in the stomach. But this is only my opinion, as I guess all of this is.

In all my years of study and work I have never heard of a single case of too much acid. I do think it is impossible. But acid does go into the wrong place and when it does your in for trouble.

Acid reflux is easy to diagnose. It is burning not in the stomach but in the lower end of the esophagus and possibly all the way up. It can cause severe chest pain. It is caused by the phyloric spincter not holding tightly enough. Its not called heart burn for nothing! It is a serious condition and can lead to cancer if not taken care of. There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a tums like product when this occurs. You need to do something. But when you look to tums as a permanent way to manage the problem you are heading for trouble long term.

The little purple pill does not heal the esophagus. Here the advertising lies. There is nothing in the pill that has an effect on the lining of the esophagus. It decreases the acid in the stomach so when pressure does occur and a backwash happens the acid level is so low that it does not burn. When burning stops the esophagus heals on its own.

There are several causes for reflux. By far and away, the most common cause is digestive upset that causes pressure on the sphincter and causes a backwash of acid up the esophagus.

Other causes for a backwash:
Stress
Being overweight
pregnancy
poor digestion possibly related to over eating, food combining, drinking taking fluids while eating
lack of sufficient acid which causes bloating, poor digestion and pressure on the sphincter.
Damaged sphincter
Diseases like parkinsons, ALS, etc.
Decrease in stomach acid with aging

If there is a damaged esophegeal sphincter there is a surgical procedure to correct it but my understanding is that this surgery is not found in the united states except for small children who reflux everything. It works. You would have to go to Europe for it most likely.

If you take an antacid you will eventully damage your capacity to make acid as most of these medications are proton pump inhibitors. In other words they turn off the flow of digestive acid by blocking receptor cells that stimulate the flow. You will eventually fall in to chronic malnutrition. Most digestive upset is due to insufficient digestive enzymes and hydrochloric acid.

The secretion of enzymes and the secretion of acid in and of itself through the stimulus of food is what causes the stimulation and secretion of acid. Acid is necessary for proper protien digestion. Without it digestion will not be complete and will contribute to a toxic state in the gut which may also contribute to the h-pylori and other infections. Most people carry h-pylori, which causes stomach ulcers. It become a problem due to over growth and invasion of the lining of the wall of the stomach when there is not enough stomach acid to keep it in check.

As most of you probably know who have been reading my posts for any length of time I do recommend above and beyond all other treatments homeopathy, as this system of medicine can take care of the underlying condition. You will need to see a well trained classical homeopath.

I once had a problem with my esophagus and swallowing. At one time it was so bad I would have to stop in the middle of meals and lay down for the esophegeal spams to let loose. When it was bad I would sometimes get acid refux. Homeoapathy got rid of it and I was free of it for over 7 years. This past year or so some of the symptoms started to return. I returned to my homeopath and now am symptom free. I tried the applecider vinegar and enzymes and HCL but only got partial and not long lasting benefit.

I do understand that these home remedies do help some people and may be worth a try. I have also read that applications of HCL and enzymes will bolster digestion and heavy doses are needed intitally and then reduced as time goes by as digestive system switches are reactivated. Search on this further.

If the buring is strictly in the stomach you need to get checked out for an ulcer. If it is not true reflux, where stuff is coming back up the esophagus and the doc says you still have too much acid and he rules out an ulcer I wouldn't believe his diagnosis and I would home treat for an ulcer.
Cabbage juice, and if must be fresh and right out of the juicer is supposed to be curative. So is Grapefruit seed extract as well as ozonated water. If you test positive for h-pylori be sure to get a follow up test to make sure you have it cured. You will have to research further to lean how to do this.

Also, if there is stomach pain with or without reflux and it is determined not to be an ulcer you need further workup. Your stomach should not hurt and something else could be going on. Although people complain of stomach pain with reflux it is not really their stomach, it is the very lowest part of the esophagus. The doctor needs to determine the absolute cause of the pain. Most times it is reflux but could also be cancer. One of he first sign of stomach cancer is stomach pain. You could also have cancer, ulcer and reflux all at the same time so things can get tricky.

If you really want to know what your level of HCL is in your stomach you will have to find a good clinical nutritionist, (not a registered dietician) who can provide access to a good lab diagnositcs. Doctors do not do these tests as the tests will too often prove that their medications are based on false medicine.

I hope some of this information will help point you in the direction you need to go to find your healing.

Is citric acid crystals and citric acid powder the same thing.

I just started the mms yesterday. I started with one drop and 2 drops today. I am just not sure how much of the vinegar I should use. Do I add more vinegar everytime I add a drop. HOw often do you take the mms. From reading the book it is 2x a day and the first day you take the first 2 doses and hour a part. Am I understanding this correctly.

Since everyone here seems to be getting their questions answered, perhaps mine a couple of pages back was overlooked.

How and where does one acquire the raw material - sodium chlorite - to make their own MMS??? Obviously, not everyone is buying the pre-made stuff, I'm quite sure some are making their own.

I would like to do the same thing. I have nothing against the vendors who sell the pre-made stuff. It's just that I'm the kind of person who likes to have complete control of my life. I'm funny that way, I guess.

For every drop of mms mix with 5 drops of, lemon juice or vinegar or citric acid.

etc

Leave to stand at least 3 minutes mix with water or juice (without vit C) and drink

Start with 1 drop and build up to 15
Leave at least 2 hours in between takings
How you get to the 15 drops is your bussiness. I see from testimonials that different people take it different ways.
Its a personal intuitive thing.

Dont use vinegar in case of candida

Any medz or supplements should be taken as far away from mms as possible. IE one in the morn one in the eve
