Lastly I would say we have about 20-30% honest people in government. The rest are either passive (will steal if the opportunity arrises) or hell bent full on criminals. The problem is the criminals hold all power positions and to question them means career suicide at best, or being 'suicided' at worst like Vince Foster or Hunter Thompson. Thompson had two bullets in his head but it was ruled suicide. He was neighbors with the Saudi ambassador as well as tied into kiddie porn/politicians.

I don't know if this is old news or not, but I did hear that building 7 was armed. Because it held so much sensitive info it was designed with explosives built into the structure, so it could be blown in case of an emergency...
