War has always been dirty, with lots of nasty death. Unless you don't live in america or one of its allie countries you agree with how fallujah and most of the war has been handled. You may say that you don't agree, but what have you done to change anything? The people who don't agree with war are a small minority, because if they weren't then america's war policy would have changed. So since america is a democracy even though you don't agree, most people in america do, and so in a democracy you do.

Now in Fallujah, most of the people that died where not regular civilians, almost all of the intelligent people left when they had a chance. The rest were either too stupid to leave or basically couldn't, think of all the ignorant people who stayed in New Orleans with a major hurricane on the way. Actually the Fallujians were even more ignorant because living in a 3rd world country you know off that bat that you are the only one responsible for your life and that no magic governtment fairy, or in their case insurgent fairy was going to come to their aid.

The actual true civillians in fallujah were even more screwed when after the US military pulled in they swept the city and let people who held a flag up go past them. Once they had gone to the other side they realized that all the people that had had flags were mostly insurgents and they were taking massive fire from behind. So then they had to turn back, I'm sure most of the soldiers weren't too happy with getting shot at by the people they had been nice enough to let by them.


War, war has always had atrocities, that just part of what makes a war a war. The only reason you know about all the deaht now is because of wide spread reporting on the internet. Actually it alot more civilised now, in the old days, you had your atrocities, plus it was acceptable for armys to come rape and pillage what ever they wanted after the battle was won.
