I live in Washington State, I am 50 years old and have lived in the same house for over 25 years. I have looked up at the stars since I was a child. The blinking stars, large ones appeared about 4-5 summers ago. I see one clearly every night, sometimes 2 more will appear, but not close to each other. When they blink they seem to blink their colors in unison. I see red, blue, purple, yellow and white colors when they blink. The main one seems to appear to the north east of where I live and always is out, except for heavy clouded nights.
It is not Venus...and anyone that sees this light will instinctively know something is odd about it.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1184248When I check the skymap here on Flash Earth, I can't find Venus in the sky this time of morning at allfrom my location. I see Jupiter and Uranus in the South East position. So I am assuming what we are seeing is Jupiter, but it is undoubtedly brighter than usual. [ link to www.neave.com] Certainly makes me want to dust off my Velikovsky and read about the changes our solar system has been through -- and is still going through!
