I've also noticed this "bright star" very often for the past 3 years or so. I lived near the countryside away from city lights for many years and have always looked up at the sky every so often, but only noticed this some 3 years ago. This is the first time I go online to get information about this bright star, so it's not like I only looked up at the sky after reading it online. I found it myself. It also seems to be getting brighter and brighter as the months go by, especially this past week, in the morning at around 6:00 eastern time. from montreal. yeah, now I live in the city, still see it clearly. Wish I had a telescope to get a better look at it. what is it?? Does it have anything to do with 2012?? Why don't they talk about it in the news. They talk about Mars when it's most visible.. why not this star or whatever it is??

Anyways, I just wanted to see what was on the net about this and looking for the right answer. But at the same time, the unknown opens the mind to creative thinking. Goodday
