First time on this site. Trying to identify the bright planet (it's not twinkling, so I believe it is a planet -- starts twinkle, yes?) in the east both before and after 7pm eastern time. I'm in Florida, looking out over the 10,000 islands. I am seeing comments on this post that it is definitely Venus and definitely Jupiter. Hmmm. Was thinking Venus would be in the east, but I see some of you have knowledge that "she" moves around. Any more comments about what that planet is? And, by the way, has anyone else been taught that planets don't twinkle and stars do? That has served me well for decades, but it doesn't mean it is always true. Willing to correct any misconceptions!
