To Whom It May Concern, I have been informed by an acquaintance of Bing Liu, former Research Assistant Professor of Computational & Systems Biology Department, that his Coronavirus research involved comparing the genome of Coronavirus with Ebola. And, he had in fact found inserts in Coronavirus that he believed were from Ebola. Apparently, before his tragic murder, he would of went public with his research. I think as a tribute to Dr Bing Liu, the University of Pittsburgh, should publicly release details of his Coronavirus research. Regards, .... |

"Bing was on the verge of making very significant findings towards understanding the cellular mechanisms that underlie sars-cov-2 infection and the cellular basis of the following complications," the statement read. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, the largest newspaper in the city, reported on the 4th of May that Bing Liu's neighbours did not hear any sounds of gunshots on the day of his death, and that a formal ruling by the county medical examiner on the cause of Liu's death is still pending.
