here's my take. all things have their time. sometimes there's war and sometimes there's peace. it may be that people can be manipulated into a war, but you can't manipulate them to go beyond their limits of endurance, sometimes the energy just runs the fuck out and that time is at hand, seriously. humans are not machines that can do whatever you want them to do indefinitely and sometimes even when you've propagandized the shit out of them, the veneer wears off- the response on bill mahers show the other night was very telling when his guest said he would spend another dollar or another American life for Israel and the audience- after 50 solid years of Israel is our best friend in the universe, applauded.

A large scale war between any of the world's leading nations will have catastrophic consequences. Guns and bombs are too big these days. Total war would spell lights out for everyone and everyone knows that. Even the most extremist of extremists are not ready for human mass extinction.
