Alcohol + Driving = Car wrapped around tree...
Weed + Driving = Drive straight as an arrow...

Alcohol + Annoying Wife = Domestic Disturbance
Weed + Annoying Wife = Come on baby... It's all good...

Alcohol + Boring TV = Zzzzzzz zz zz....
Weed + Boring TV = This show rocks!!

Alcohol = Puke...
Weed = Anti-Nausia...

And on and on...

I mean WTF??

And I can go buy cases of alcohol practically anywhere...

And I can't buy weed ANYWHERE!!! (Lately at least) ;-)

Did I really CHOOSE this reality to experience??

WTF was I thinking???

Re: Alcohol Legal... Weed Illegal... (Deet di deeeee)
it's not nonsense

the state of mind created by weed make you wonder about things that "they" don't want you to wonder...

as simple as that

also it makes a good excuse to arrest those 'bad guys' that apparently seem to be against the population control and are present in popular revolutionary parades (aka: manifestations)

originally mary jane was outlawed because some stuffy men in congress thought that it caused white women to sleep with black men and stuff. I personally believe that marijuana is perfectly safe if used for recreational use and you don't let it consume your everyday life. it can cause a loss of human potential if it is overused. people get lazy and have no desire to accomplish anything. sort of like a vampire sucking away your creative juices.

Also, the illegalization came about the same time a lot of agents were out of work because prohibition ended.

Actually, Neesie is not correct. Cocaine was made illegal under the auspices that it made the black men rape white women. Weed was banned with the excuse that the Mexicans smoked their "loco weed" and went on crazy murder rampages. A great book on the WoDs is "Drug Crazy" it's authored by Mike Gray.....

The funny thing about prohibition is that it was ended with the help of a group of prohibitionist women, who realized prohibition didn't work.......

Both were legal until prohibition. Alcohol was then made legal again because it could be heavily taxed.
MJ was not made again legal because it was more difficult to tax, as it could be grown anywhere, and grew wild in most areas of the country.

yeah cocaine too, I saw a film about marijuana and coke on the history channel and they said that cocaine made black men crazy and hard to control. it would take the whole police force to pin him down if he was all coked up. LOL

Re: Alcohol Legal... Weed Illegal... (Deet di deeeee)
Sin tax on alcohol was actually an afterthought and benefit for TPTB. The end of prohibition was really set in motion due to societal ills, namely mothers who didn't like to have alcoholics for kids...That's the lunacy of the drug war, prohibition actually plays the drugs right into the childrens' hands......

Re: Alcohol Legal... Weed Illegal... (Deet di deeeee)
wasn't weed made illegal due to the protesters of the Vietnam war? i was almost sure of that

and about weed being easyer to tax...
man, i can make alcohol drinks at home with 100's of legal stuff
you just need a still to destilate it (unsure about this words in english "Still" and "destilate")

from wikipedia:
A distilled beverage is a consumable liquid containing ethyl alcohol (ethanol) purified by distillation from a fermented substance such as fruit, vegetables, or grain. The word spirits generally refers to distilled beverages low in sugars and containing at least 35% alcohol by volume. Absinthe, baijiu, brandy, gin, Ginger Wine, rum, tequila, vodka, whisky, and traditional German schnapps are types of spirits. Distilled beverages with added flavorings and a relatively high sugar content such as Grand Marnier, Frangelico and American style schnapps are generally referred to as liqueurs. The term liquor may mean spirits; spirits and liqueurs; or all alcoholic beverages, including wine, sake, beer, and mead.
