My company rented me a Nissan Maxima back in 2004, had 160 MPH on the speedo. I was on my way home from a seminar at about 3:00 A.M. and decided to see what kind of balls the car had. Got up to around 135 MPH before the engine sputtered and kept sputtering every time I tried to go past 135 MPH before I figured out it was governed to do no more than 135. Kind of a letdown, as that is the second fastest speed I've done in a car.
