Do you know what grinds my gears?
Rich people (and, the lazy people that let them get richer!)

Think about it-when a person's income, greatly exceeds their demand, to cover their necessities, it's really just a waste (unless of course, you are building a power base to control others.)

For the sake of argument, try to look beyond the capitalist view (which, when you think about it, is really a warpped concept in the serious scheme of things but, that's another discussion) and focus on the tangible aspect of the economic wheel.

For example, a person will use their money to secure first their basic needs and if they have a balance, they might purchase a few wants. All in all, people will repeat this routine on a regular basis.

In order to picture it, lets say a person spends $1000. and purchases 10 items. What that means is that a $1,000. has been put into the economy-10 items that were manufactured, were sold (basic supply & demand, turning the economic wheel, round & round.)

Now, here comes say, Bill Gates-one man with lots and lots of money (in some cases he has more money than entire nations-way more than he or several of his generations to come, can ever spend!) But, being only one man, Bill is still only going to require roughly the same items as an ordinary person-perhaps a better quality and maybe a few more of the items but, overall, it's about the same transaction.

See the problem? Where Bill Gates is one man with a lot of money, below him, are a lot of people, with a lot less money. Now if those unfortunate masses had more money, guess what? They would buy more items and probably upgrade to a higher quality of product too. In other words, a shit load of money would be dumped into the economy and in the process, those ordinary souls would get to live the good life too! But, if only Bill Gates has all that money-well, only Bill Gates is enjoying the good life and our economy is sputtering just to get by (like the people that feed the beast.)

What am I saying? I'm saying, the capitalist way of life isn't working-at least not for the masses (who have to prop it up with taxes-that the rich congress/senate bozos blow like there's no tomorrow!)

The problem with saying something like this, is that the masses have been brainwashed into thinking the capitalist lifestyle is patriotic-can you believe that? People have actually been programmed by TPTB to take pride in their pain, suffering & poverty! How sad is that? And, the pied piper plays on.............

Somebody smarter than me, surely, can devise a better way of life (than the capitalist lifestyle) can't they? Sure they can-but, one perk of being in the rich-club, is that you also have the time and money to make sure you keep the status quo in your favor (the rich get richer and the poor get poorer!)

Still, by sheer numbers, the masses could easily revolt and turn the tables but, we don't! Why? Just because-that's the only reason, just because! We the masses are cowards-lazy good for nothing-cowards. It sickens me to think of all the valiant heros (of the past-founding fathers, etc.)that fought and died for us to have the privilege to "do nothing!" In their dying breath-beaten & battered, they reach up, to hand us, the banner-to carry on the battle but, we turn and look away.......I say, isn't that Britney? No, sorry my mistake, it's Paris having sex with .....her shadow-whoa! Are we worthless scum or what? We get what we deserve!!! And, like Peter says, "that's what grinds my gears!" What about you?
