In Australia, the cop would beat you, then claim the trifecta:

1/ resisting arrest
2/ assault office
3/ offensive language towards officer

Then you need to defend yourself in front of a magistrate (ie: NO JURY) against these allegations, whom profits from fining you and who has been directed to MAXIMISE finings by their superiors. Great way of dealing with non-conformists!!
