Gays are just as unreasonable as heterosexuals when it comes to discussing the gay issue. It has affected our family in a personal way, and so I find myself here because I am trying to understand. My grandson has been in the open for about 10 years. His life style has taken its toll on him. I see it in his face. The innocence and joy of living is fast disappearing from his life as he enter further into the gay community.One can see it in his features and stuff he is doing now that he would not have done before. He is fast becoming the one seeking youngermen rather than the older man seeking him out. He has attempted suicide 3 times. He looses friend to aids often, which saddens him deeply. He is the male who takes the female role in his relationships. He is a very intelligent man in a prominant field of work...But he is not really at peace with himself. I have met some of his friends as we love him and his firends unconditonally, however some of his friends have some of the saddest faces I have ever seen in my life. How can this type of relationship be considered healthy when it brings so much pain, and yes, to a larger degree than is seen in the heterosexual community? Now that we have legalized marriage for gays, I do not see them rushing to get married. Eventually we will see a backlash in the gay community with legal entanglements as there is a lot of $$ im their community that is not evenly spread out. In the heterosexual community I foresee serious health problems arise as a result of genders crossing each other's bounderies that are fast disappearing. Aids has never been cure, it mutates too fast. People live longer but they can still infect other partners. What really puzzles me as I sit back and try to understand, is why in a same sex relationship does one always to the female submisive role and the other the male dominate roll? |

There are many people who are not at peace and heterosexual who lose the "innocence in their face" as you say. Life is about balance, and cannot be blamed on one's sexuality. I also don't understand the submissive/dominance thing. It seems to me that nature advocates male/female partnerships, and thus, people who define themselves as gay subconsciously adhere to the laws of nature. |

They were among the questions asked by both Masters and Johnson and Kinsey when they did their reports on human sexuality. There is not greater chance for a homosexual male to have been molested as a child than there is for a heterosexual male to have been.
