They Have Seduced My People Saying Peace, Peace
Where there is no peace. That is the statement made in Ezekiel 13:10 and again in Ezekiel 13:16, Jeremiah 6:14 and 8:11 warning Israel there would come a time this would occur. People it is happening right before our very eyes!

There will be no seven year long "covenant of peace" so many false teachers are professing. Jesus was the covenant who came and "confirmed it to many" when He died on the cross (Isa. 42:6 & 49:8, Mt. 26:28, Mk. 14:24, Gal. 3:17). The second half of the week spoken to in Daniel 9:27 is the "time of Jacob's trouble" for Israel. It is the coming "day of vengeance of our God" Isaiah 61:2b claims.

Now read the following as the people of Israel seem to have been seduced into believeing Islam will make peace in exchange for Jerusalem and Samaria/Judea. Remember the Israelites do not believe in Jesus as Messiah, as a whole, so they still believe where the old temple stood is holy. They hold to long since past laws and are willing to relenquish the very place Jesus will set foot back on His created earth. The place they still see as holy is what thy are focused on and it is meaningless. The city Abraham sought was not earthly Jerusalem people, it is Jerusalem above.

Read Hebrews 11 and see it come to life before your eyes. Things of this world hold no holiness. We have to take our eyes off earthly things, including the false teaching a new stone "temple of God" will be erected. He has stated clearly WE who believe and are sealed are now His temple (1 Cor. 3:16, 1 Pet. 2:5, Eph. 2:21) and He will NEVER dwell in a temple made with hands (Acts 7:48, 17:24).

The Israelites worship a stone wall, not the God Who died for their salvation. They worship and hold a place on earth in more reverence then they do the God Who created them, chose them as His elect and called them by His name. Isaiah 45:4;

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

Despite the ongoing political discussion over the creation of fringe neighborhoods in Jerusalem, most Israelis are in no hurry to back the changes suggested by Vice Premier Haim Ramon and Minister for Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman in the capital's status-quo. ------------------------------------------------------
But what of the holy places in Jerusalem? When asked who should remain sovereign of the Western Wall and Temple Mount, 61% believed Israel should be named sovereign, 16% voted for joint Israeli-Palestinian sovereignty, 21% said the holy places should be under international rule and 1% said Jordan should be named the holy places' sovereign.
