Anonymous Coward User ID: 60206 United States 10/12/2007 07:00 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ask any Congressman or Congresswoman about Ron Paul and they will tell you that he is the laughing stock of Congress and always has been. They feel sorry for him and are embarrassed for him. He has submitted thousands of bills in his career and not a single one of them has passed. He has not had a single Congressman co-sponsor one of his insane bills in two decades. They pat him on the head and smile. Much the way people do with you when you tell them you are for Ron Paul. Or at BBQ's when you begin ranting about TPTB or alien abduction. Or how your wife stares at you when you are telling friends about how Bush is a reptile and a shape changer. The media likes him because he is the dump ass moron who is getting attention from other dumb ass morons and it makes for a funny story. Look at the fucking morons... |

This would be the Congress with the lowest approval ratings in American history, correct? Gallup Poll: Congress Approval Rating at All Time Low Just 14% of Americans have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in Congress. This 14% Congressional confidence rating is the all-time low for this measure, which Gallup initiated in 1973. The previous low point for Congress was 18% at several points in the period of time 1991 to 1994. Anonymous Coward User ID: 311542 Puerto Rico 10/12/2007 08:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Polls like elections are rigged, and when they can't rig them (as in the latest poll after the debate in NH) they either pull the poll or make up some lame excuse about it not being scientific (like the others that show TPTB candidates doing good are scientific) or fans of a certain person voted more than once to skew the poll (even when it only accepts 1 vote per IP they use that lie to explain why RP does so good) The honest truth is there literally are enough Americans waking up to the scam that politics is and want changes!! And they know that supposed 'leaders' in the polls are being pushed by MSM and TPTB but ARE NOT the choice of the people. They see RP represently how they really feel and think, his support is REAL. If enough people are informed about the plan to minimize his ability to muster people out in the primaries by closing them they have a chance of not allowing his real power be seen the in the primaries. Those states that have open primaries will demonstrate that his support is way over the 2% they keep quoting. |
