try to go out into an open night space with your face looking upward along with your eyes, once done doing that, look to your approximate right and you will see A VERY BRIGHT OBJECT possibly a blanet of some sort... you won't miss it, take my word for it

20 to 1 that said object is SSW at about 22 degrees inclination and goes by the name of Jupiter. There are only 4 planetary objects in the sky right now and Uranus and Neptune and Pluto are not nearly bright enough to get anyones attention right now. Only Jupiter is up if you are in the US and that is your bogey...

Jupiter has that effect on you if you have never witnessed it before. I was saying that several years ago. If that impresses you, just wait until Venus is up as it is nearly twice as large at times, especially when it elongates as it sets over the horizon...
