Riot police storm pub after a smoker lights up in protest to the ban

Once the hate laws are passed they'll be sending in Riot police when they think your thoughts are not in order.

I dont understand the ban on smoking in pubs in the first place. for one thing if you are in a pub you are probably drinking alcohol. alcohol can destroy the liver. why is it permissable to harm your liver and spare your lungs? a pub is not a health club. I am getting sick of laws that violate your basic rights to even smoke a dang cigarette!

No, in California they would have tasered him, smacked his head on the car as they put him in, and had an accidental trip whilst being put into the cell.

The bar tender would sue him for future cancer liability. The judge would give him 10 years. The people who cheered in the pub would also be halled away as supporters of a 'terrorist'.

The whole situation would have got out of hand with the police finally shooting someone in the head... more than likely the landlord of the pub in a case mistaken identity.

NBC and Fox news will report that a valuable Al Qeida terrorist was captured and that the pub was a den of muslim iniquity. 5 members of congress would also condemn pubs in general for providing 'cover' for terrorist organisations.

For months on end CNN, ABC and NBC would show snippets of muslim looking people walking into pubs...

Yesterday I was attending the Chargers-Raiders game at Qualcomm stadium in SanDiego. Being an outdoor stadium, there is plenty of ventilation. However, it wasn't enough that we would have to go outside seating areas to the exit doors of the stadium to smoke.. This year there is NO SMOKING signs everywhere, and the only place allowed, is way off in a tiny corner of the stadium, where smokers huddle together in a fenced in coupe. The "coupe" is probably 100 yards away from any seating areas.

I put out my cigarette and walked out of the area, and was followed by a guy who still had a few drags left on his smoke. About 20 feet outside the area a security guy yelled at him to PUT OUT HIS CIGARETTE!! The guy said something back like, "I don't wanna throw it down".. and started making his way toward the nearest trash can. The security guy yelled again, and this time the guy ignored him. Bad idea.

The guy called over other guards and they went up and grabbed this guy by the arms. I watched the whole thing in disbelief. They told him he was being kicked out. He and his friend argued that he just didn't want to litter by throwing out the cigarette. This was to no avail. Now there were 6 security guys there, and two real police officers. The officers took out note pads and started taking statements. I continued to watch.

This whole scene continued for the next fifteen minutes.
The smoker wasn't being aggressive or insulting, but they continued to address him like a criminal.
"Sir, there is no smoking in this stadium. You have two choices, you can either leave now, or get arrested. That's it. It's your choice".

It was the 1st quarter of the game. Average tickets to a game like this are about $100.

When I finally left they were handcuffing the guy, and taking him into some dark room they take drunks, brawlers, and people who try to sneak weapons in. The next stop is jail.

There is something so wrong with this.

You know what I did? I quit going anywhere and quit spending my money where I am clearly not welcome. I won't be bullied or coerced to change my habits.

There are something around 41 million smokers in the US and the tide will swing right on back eventually. Might take quite a few bankrupt bars and restaurants to set things right again though.

My question is:

Why do they want us to stop smoking cigarettes?

It's not like they are concerning with our health, as they are poisoning our food, water, medications, vaccines and whatever else they can think of.

So why don't they want us to smoke cigarettes?

Could it be that they aren't as bad for us that they want us to believe?

Or are there other reasons?

But trust me, TPTB are not concerned with our health. If they were, AIDS would not exist, cancer would be cured, diabetes would be cured, obesity would not exist, autism would not exist, healthcare would be affordable.

So what is the REAL REASON they want us all to quit smoking cigarettes?

There is a website out there that tracks real research on smoking, and the endless government agenda to outlaw it. Quite informative.

Why do they want us to quit smoking? They don't. It is one of the last sources of tax revenue that they can plunder at will.

What they want is a society that can be controlled, coerced, and generally be made to believe that the law is always right (regardless of what is just).
