jarha NEOCON: Clearly, American corporations would be forced to transition their currency into non-dollars in order to purchase the merchandise sold in those particular nations. It's not as though citizens or corporations of America are not allowed to hold currency of other nations in their posession, and circulate it. It is entirely legal, and possible. The corporations will in fact transition currency into non-dollars in order to get the best deals. A company is not going to pay more for a product they could get from another nation for a lessened price, just because they won't accept dollars. What's more, a company is not going to run 'out of stock' on anything, just because there are no other sources of the product they require which sells in dollars. It's called supply and demand, and all businesses adhere to that policy - because if they did not, they wouldn't remain in business for very long. Or at very least, profit would not remain optimal.

In any case, even if the US companies halted their purchases from those nations, the US would then be forced to purchase the products from some other country. At that point, the nation which we would normally buy from, could sell their un-bought products to whomever is the normal buyer of the goods now being sold to the Americans. So long as they keep-to that non-dollar policy, it seems to me that there's a decent chance they (the nations no longer accepting US currency) would end up making more money, at least in the long-run; primarily a win-win scenario for them.

That is of course, only so long as the Americans don't attack them economically, politically, or militarily. The elite, like the parasites they are (living off of the labors and hardships of the majority), are quite unethical, and just might choose to steam-roll your people and nation, if you are working against their disgusting ways.
