I said i would be back 7 years from my first post. And i am. Although things are not exactly as i suspected.. Where has the Time Tracel Portal gone? i have yet to be in a Timeline where it does not exist.. Hmmm. I see certain things are also several years behind than in other timelines, stopping Y2K really did make a difference here.
This time the objective is tougher than ever. I have to stop WW3 from starting, but things are becoming much more difficult. it would appear that certain powers in your timeline have already got a time travelling device.
I need to stop the Assasination of Dr Paul.

Here is the hint on fixing y2k with unix.

the GCC compiler runs on just about anything, use long long's to support larger dates. You'll need to rebuild the kernel, libc, and the time/date programs.. Source to all these systems will help.

If you search about you can find source to 32v (the alpha if you will to what all Unix's diverged off of), and even harder you can find not only the old BSD Unix's but SYSIII & SYS4 Unix.

So many questions...

The part of John Titor was played by the con artist team of Dan Burish Crain and Marci McDowell. They used the Titor hoax as a dry run hoax to see how they could improve their own hoax that began in earnest shortly after the John Titor character vanished "back to the future". The "Dan Burisch" hoax relies heavily on the TV show 'Stargate SG1" and many other faddish ufo, new age, religious, and sci fi make believe.

When it comes to these types of hoaxes there are always suckers willing to believe. Don't be one of those suckers.

So appearantly things got fucked up there wherever he went back and now it's time for shit hitting the fan in our world line. Prepare some questions for our own Michael J. Fox here when he apparently shows up the 2nd of November.
