It is lookin more and more that this could be the real deal "the star of destiny" for a world ....a little more and we shall see. But one thing is for sure ...If this gets world wide notice even from people who could give a shit less about the stars and it reaches the MSM (Main Stream Media) then you know this is it. The period at the end of the sentence in this book of life.
I am praying that it is ...because i want freedom from this slave factory known as modern "civilization". We need a kinder, gentler world with lots more love. And that is what the next world will be. No more of this bullshit of survival of the fittest (the dumbest) and no more dog eat dog (fool eat fool) and no more law of the jungle (law of the cowards).
Like I've always asked..."Where is that earth grazing catastrophe to put all this petty BS into perspective?"
Curious, in your vision did the star of destiny just appear as a sign? Or did it come close?...real close. Quoting: Teliao
Well you see that's the thing. It all depends on what we as a people do. The masses of humanity. We can no longer fight wars ...we can no longer wage wars against nature and each other. All wars must stop. But it always comes down to this. When the sign (star) appears it could spell a horrible terrible end too terrible to imagine. Worst than anything science can tell us. OR it can be just a beautiful sign in the sky and it can be told to us why it's there as part as a beautiful story ...like a poet telling a poem. IF the human race makes the right decisions. We must choose a global peace and a global love and it must be emphasized to us by someone that really understands why all this is happening and it has nothing to do with any particular religion ......But there is some truth in all religions as to why its here.
Look for the similarities and commonalities in all religions and in science and in all beliefs and when you find the similarities and commonalities then you will understand why. But why is really easy to see. Its all about war and peace. We need peace now and no more beating of the war drums and no more destruction of our planet.
When peace comes it comes like a tidal wave ...a tidal wave that starts as a "star" in the sky that doesnt go away ...ever...it just gets bigger and bigger until human DECISION decides if it stops ....And i for one DO believe in miracles. It will take a miracle to stop it. But miracles do happen and remember this .....there cant be any miracles without love and peace. None at all.
Peace is NO JOKE. Peace is extremely serious stuff. Eventually a whole world's survival depends on it. This could very well be that eventuality. The war business must go out of business.
Love will rule ..one way or another it will.
P.S- no technology will save us from this ...EXCEPT the technology which allows us to communicate why but ultimately it depends on the decision of the mind, heart and soul....in each individual. The least those in power can do is put the message of why out to the world ...That is the least they can do ...and lets see what happens. |

Future prospects (by Alan MacRobert). "My bet is this comet will ***stay bright for a long while***. The yellow-white color is dust reflecting sunlight, and dust is what keeps a comet bright. As opposed to gas (comet gas is green and blue), which blows away quickly in the solar wind. Also, the brilliant stellar nucleus and the inner-coma fan suggest that the nucleus us still producing a lot of dust. This comet won't fade out soon.

Thursday Oct. 25: "This object is amazing!" posted Brian Cudnik of Houston, Texas, on the Yahoo CometChasing group after coming in from his telescope on the evening of the 24th. "I have just observed it with an 8-inch f/10 Cassegrain, boosting the power up to 163x then to 508x.... The bright inner coma seems displaced off-center toward position angle 315°. The inner coma opens up into a fan toward position angle 300°, and I have noticed one ripple, akin to the hoods/ripples seen in Comet Hale-Bopp ten years ago. The coma is uniform in brightness, aside from this fan-shape material emanating from the central condensation, and has a well-defined edge." He measured the coma to be 69 arcseconds wide using using the drift method. "The entire object has a nice yellow-white color; no sign of any tail. The apparent magnitude is +2.8 (estimated using Alpha Per at +1.9 and the other two bright stars adjacent to it at +3.0 each) and has remained rather steady all evening." |

That's really funny!!!! Hahahahahahahahahahha
The telescope would more than likely be focused way beyond the clouds.
You would never be able to see a defined out line of a cloud while focused on a comet.
It's like focusing on the moon through tree branches and leaves. You never see them, it just block out some of the light and can make for a blurry image. |

August 31, 2007
Read a letter from the Executive Director of The Planetary Society.
"I'm writing this emergency letter to bring you up to date on what we've accomplished, and to ask for your immediate help— to ensure that we can complete this project, solve this mystery, and perhaps change what every scientist on Earth thinks about basic physics.
Something strange is happening in the outer reaches of our solar system. The Pioneer 10 and 11 spacecraft are not where they are supposed to be. These missions, launched in 1972 and 1973, have covered hundreds of millions of kilometers, heading toward the edge of our solar system. But something is holding them back. Each year, they fall behind in their projected travel by about 5,000 kilometers (3,000 miles).
Jet Propulsion Laboratory scientist John Anderson and his colleagues have been searching for an explanation since 1980. But as of yet, they have found nothing conclusive; no spacecraft behavior or previously unknown property of the outer solar system can explain the deceleration of the Pioneer spacecraft. Scientists are being forced to consider the unthinkable: something may be wrong with our understanding of the laws of physics. An important line of inquiry will be to study mounds of Doppler (velocity) data and spacecraft status data (like temperatures) that have been unavailable to researchers—but that is about to change. ....Whether it turns out to be an annoying spacecraft effect or a revolution in physics, the Pioneer Anomaly is a mystery that must be solved as we continue to explore the universe around us.

Dear Members of The Planetary Society:
First of all, thank you very much for your continuing support for our efforts to identify the nature of the Pioneer anomaly. In this letter, I would like to provide you with some details on our current work.
As of March 2007, the existence of the anomaly is confirmed by seven independent investigations using different navigational codes -- the signal is present in the Doppler data received from both Pioneers 10 and 11. The most important question now is to identify the cause of this anomalous frequency drift discovered in the Pioneer data......

You can tell it's not a star, it looks like a fuzzy spot, rather than a pinpoint like the surrounding stars.
Still, not as impressive as all that. I'm just wondering what all those medieval artists were looking at when they drew huge moon-sized comets with tails that arced halfway across the sky, as in the following link:

We have had comets like that in our life time. Alot lot of them are recent relitivly speaking.
I think it was comet hyacatakia(murdered the spelling on that one)
Any way it had a freaking tail from a little north of (straight up, I forget what to call it in astronomical terms) to half way to the ecliptic and I know it was more than that.
Thats a tail almost across the WHOLE sky.
