Perseus "The Breaker," Two Comets and the "Head of Satan"

Incredible new meaning has been discovered about the real significance
of two recent comets which blazed in the heavens -- comet Hyakutake
and Hale-Bopp -- and whose paths crossed in the sky! Here is a "sign" --
and a most amazing prophecy for the near future! Consider the following
facts in the light of Biblical prophecy!

"Then God said, 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens
to divide the day from the night; and let them be for SIGNS and
seasons, and for days and years" (Gen.1:14).

The modern world scoffs at heavenly signs, because of the nonsense of
astrology and pagan superstitions regarding the stars. Nevertheless, the
very first thing God tells us in His Word about the heavenly bodies, is
that they were put in place by the Creator to be for "signs." There is no
equivocation or ambiguity about this passage of Scripture. It is crystal
clear that the planets, and comets, and stars, were meant to convey a
message to mankind, and their relationships with each other tell us a story
-- that is, they constitute "signs" which inform us of coming events.

Bob Wadsworth, who had done intensive work studying and plotting the
courses of comets, discovered that while plotting the path of the comet
Hyakutake during the month of April 1996 against the path of the comet Hale
Bopp in April of 1997, an almost perfect right angle is formed by their
paths which crossed each other on the exact same date of the year (April
11, both years). To be precise, both comets occupied the exact same space
in the sky on the very same date, Hyakutake on April 11, 1996, and Hale
Bopp on April 11, 1997! The chances against this event having occurred by
sheer accident would be astronomically huge -- yet it happened. Sheer
coincidence? That is what non-believing skeptics would have us believe.

But the case does not stop there. Even more interesting, is that the
intersection of these two comets, on this precise date, plotting their
courses in the sky, shows that their pathways formed a "cross" --
reminiscent of the cross of Jesus Christ, who died on such an emblem to pay
the price for the sins of mankind, and to deliver mankind from the power of
Satan, the devil!

What is even more interesting, however, is the fact that this "conjunction"
of the two comets occurred at a fascinating point in the sky -- that is,
their point of convergence was in the constellation of Perseus, a figure
typifying Christ. In the figure in the sky, Perseus holds the severed head
of the Gorgon, Medusa. The intersection point just happens to be in the
middle of the head of Medusa, at the eye! The eye of Medusa is the star
named "Algol."

Traditionally, the star Algol is the most malevolent star of the heavens!
The Hebrews call this star the head of Satan!

The Witness of the Stars

E. W. Bullinger in his fascinating book The Witness of the Stars, tells us
about the meaning of the constellations of the Zodiac, and the stars that
comprise them. They tell us a story -- the story of the plan of God.

The constellation of Aries, which is the "Ram" or "Lamb," pictures the true
"Lamb of God" who returns to this earth as the conqueror and king (compare
John 1:26 and Rev.5:5-14). The ram in Aries is pictured as full of life and
vigour. Says Bullinger, "In the Danderah Zodiac its name is Tametouris
Ammon, which means the reign, dominion, or government of Ammon. The lamb's
head is without horns, and is crowned with a circle.

"The Hebrew name is Taleh, the lamb. The Arabic name is Al Hamal, the
sheep, gentle, merciful" p.105). There are 66 stars in the sign, the chief
one, in the forehead, being El Nath, or El Natik, which


means wounded,
slain. The next, in the left horn, is called Al Sheratan, the bruised, the
wounded. These stars unite in one voice proclaiming the truth of the Lamb
of God who was slain for the sins of the world!

Interestingly, in earliest times, the sun entered Aries "on the 14th day of
the Jewish month" -- that is, the day of the sacrifice of the Passover
lamb! (Exodus 12:6)! At the time of the Exodus of Israel from Egypt, circa
1492 B.C., the sun entered the constellation of Aries at the time of the
spring equinox. But by the time of the year of the crucifixion of Christ,
the sun had receded further, and in the year of the crucifixion (30 A.D.),
on Nisan 14, it stood at the very spot marked by the star El Nath, the
pierced, the wounded, the slain, and El Sheratan, the bruised, the wounded!
Thus Christ perfectly fulfilled this "sign" in the heavens by being our
true Passover lamb (I Cor.5:7)! Asks Bullinger: "Was this design? or was it
chance? It is far easier to believe the former. It makes a smaller demand
upon our faith; yes, we are compelled to believe that He who created the
sun and the stars 'for signs and for cycles,' ordained also the times and
the seasons, and it is He who tells us that 'WHEN THE FULLNESS OF TIME WAS
COME, God sent forth His Son' (Gal.4:4), and that 'in due time Christ died
for the ungodly' (Rom.5:6)" (The Witness of the Stars, p.107).

Cassiopeia and Cetus

Also, in the sign of Aries, is Cassiopeia, "the enthroned woman," picturing
the Bride of Christ, and Cetus, "the sea monster," picturing the great
enemy of mankind bound (Rev.20:1-2) -- called in the Scriptures
"Leviathan," a type of Satan the devil. Cetus, the sea monster, is the
largest of all the constellations and is the natural enemy of fishes (a
type of mankind -- Christ sent His disciples forth as 'fishers of men').
Its brightest star is called Menikar, which means the bound or chained
enemy. The next is called Diphda or Deneb Kaitos, meaning overthrown, or
thrust down. The star in the neck is called Mira, that is, THE REBEL. It is
a very bright star, and in 1596 A.D. it was discovered to be a variable
star. That is, its brightness fluctuates and it disappears periodically
seven times in six years! It increases and diminishes in magnitude, and the
degree of its variableness is so great as to make it appear unsteady, or
unstable!

Perseus, "The Breaker"

Concluding the pageant in the sky for Aries, we come to Perseus, "The
Breaker," a picture of Christ the triumphant warrior who "breaks" the hold
of Cetus, the devil, over God's people and delivers the redeemed. The
prophet Isaiah tells us, "In that day the LORD with His severe sword, great
and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that
twisted serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea"
(Isa.27:1). The Psalmist tells us, "For God is my King from of old, working
salvation in the midst of the earth. You divided the sea by your strength;
you broke the heads of the sea serpents in the waters, you broke the heads
of Leviathan in pieces . . ." (Psalm 74:12-14).

Perseus is "The Breaker." He will do the job. This constellation is of a
"mighty man," picturing Christ the warrior. The Hebrew word for this
constellation is Peretz, from which is derived the Greek form Perses, or
the name Perseus (Rom.16:13). It is related to the Hebrew Perez, which
means "breach", "divided," or "bursting through" (Young's Concordance --
see I Chron.13:11; Dan.5:28). This name, in Hebrew, is the very same name
used of Christ in the prophecy of Micah -- God says, "I will surely
assemble, O Jacob, all of thee; I will surely gather the remnant of Israel
. . . THE BREAKER is come up before them: they have broken up, and have
passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their KING shall pass
through before them, and the LORD on the head of them" (Micah 2:12-13).

The figure of Perseus in the night sky has in His right hand a sore, great
and strong sword to smite and break down the enemy; He has wings on His
feet, showing us that He is coming very swiftly; and in his left hand He
carries the head of the enemy, whom He has slain. In the Denderah Zodiac
His name is Kar Knem, he who fights and subdues. Perseus is a beautiful
constellation of 59 stars. The star in the waist is Mirfak, who helps. The
star in the right shoulder is Al Genib, who carries away. The bright star
in the left foot is Athik, who breaks!

In His left hand, Perseus ("The Breaker") carries "a head, which, by
perversion, the Greeks called the head of Medusa, being ignorant that its
Hebrew root meant the trodden under foot. It is also called Rosh Satan
(Hebrew), the head of the adversary, and Al Oneh (Arabic), the subdued, or
Al Ghoul, the evil spirit."

Notice carefully! This "head" of the enemy is identified as none other than
"Rosh" ("prince" or "chief" or "head") "SATAN" (meaning "Adversary,"
"Enemy") -- therefore, this pictures the severed head of SATAN THE DEVIL
who will ultimately be killed and destroyed utterly by Jesus Christ, Yeshua
Ha Mashiach!!! Praise the Lord God, that day is coming SOON! If you haven't

E. W. Bullinger goes on in his remarkable book: "The bright star B (in this
head), has come down to us with the name Al Gol, which means rolling round.

"It is a most remarkable phenomenon that so many of these enemies
should be characterized by VARIABLE STARS! But this head of Medusa,
like the neck of Cetus, has one. Al Gol is continually CHANGING. In
about 69 hours it changes from the 4th magnitude to the 2nd. During
four hours of this period it gradually diminishes in brightness, which
it recovers in the succeeding four hours; and in the remaining part of
the time invariably preserves its greatest lustre. After the
expiration of this time its brightness begins to decrease again. Fit
emblem for our great enemy, who, 'like a roaring lion, goeth about
seeking whom he may devour' (I Pet.5:8); then changing into a subtle
serpent (Gen.3:8); then changing again into 'an angel of light' (II
Cor.11:14). 'Transforming himself' continually, to devour, deceive,
and destroy" (Bullinger, The Witness of the Stars, p.116-117).

How astonishing it is to think that the world has just witnessed, in the
last two years, in the passage of the two comets, Hyakutake in 1996, and
Hale Bopp in 1997, which crossed each other's paths, intersecting in the
EYE OF MEDUSA -- in the star named AL GOL, the "Head of SATAN" -- thus
forming a CROSS -- a TARGET or "Bull's Eye" -- showing that the Messiah is
coming soon, and He will "cross out" and destroy that old serpent, the
Devil, who deceives the whole world!

Final War in Heaven and Great Tribulation

We read how this will be done in the book of Revelation:

"And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the
dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not
prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the
great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and
Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his
angels were cast out with him" (Rev.12:7-9).

The time of this "casting out from heaven" will occur very shortly, now.
Satan's being cast out -- "X'd out" -- from heaven is pictured by the
crossing of the comets Hyakutake and Hale Bopp over the "head of Satan,"
the "evil eye" star in the head of "Medusa," held in the left hand of
Perseus, "The Breaker," who is Christ. Each comet crossed the "eye of
Satan" on April 11, both in 1996 and 1997. Interestingly, in 1998 Passover
itself will fall on April 11!

Within three or four years of this date (see Luke 13:6-9), I expect this
final war in heaven will occur, in the year 2000-2001, just before Passover
time -- and Satan and his legion of demon-angels will fall from heaven, as
occurred aeons ago (Luke 10:18). This time it will be permanently -- and
there will be no place found for them in heaven ever again! At that time,
the final Great Tribulation will commence on earth, with vicious and
relentless persecution being executed upon the true remnant people of God!
John goes on to warn us:

"Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, 'Now salvation, and
strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have
come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God
day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood
of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love
their lives to the death. Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who
dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For
the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows
that he has a short time'" (Rev.12:10-12).

Notice! When Satan is cast down, for this final time, shortly, he will be
full of anger and wrath against the people of God -- and all the people of
the earth. His very nature will be consumed with fiery indignation and
venomous hatred. He will know that his days are limited, and this will
cause him to burst forth in apoplectic fury and rage!

At this time, Satan will begin a final onslaught of fierce persecution
against the remaining children of God who are alive on the earth -- the
final generation of God's Church. John tells us:

"Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he
persecuted the woman [the Church of God, spiritual "Israel'] who gave
birth to the male Child. But the woman was given two wings of a great
eagle [depicting miraculous God-sent deliverance], that she might fly
into the wilderness to her place [prepared for her by God], where she
is nourished for a time and times and half a time [3 and 1/2 years, or
1260 prophetic days -- see verse 6], from the presence of the serpent.
So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the
woman [sent armies after her], that he might cause her to be carried
away by the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth
opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood [the earth will rupture
and a violent earthquake will literally form a chasm into which the
army will fall and be buried] which the dragon had spewed out of his
mouth.

"And the dragon was ENRAGED with the woman, and he went to MAKE WAR
with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and
have the testimony of Jesus Christ" (Rev.12:14-17).

This massive aggression against the true servants of God will occur for
precisely three and one half prophetic years, which represent 3 and 1/2
literal years. A "time" equals a year in its final fulfillment (compare
Rev.13:5; 11:2; 12:6 with Daniel 7:25 and 12:7).

God has given us another "sign" in the heavens, a sign which reveals that
time is short! This world, and Satan the devil, and all of us, are running
out of time. The "Days of Awe" are upon us, and there is not much time left
in which to set our houses in order, and REPENT, and TURN TO GOD,
confessing our sins, and pleading for His forgiveness!

God says, "Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of
the sea, the remnant will be saved. for He will FINISH THE WORK and cut it
short in righteousness. Because the LORD will make a SHORT WORK upon the
earth" (Romans 9:27-28).

Musings of a star gazer

A few nights ago, unable to sleep , I decided to wander out under the night
sky and gaze at the stars.I was quite taken with a star I had never noticed
before. Its size dwarfed its brothers and sisters in the sky, and it seemed
to winking at me...So I went in the house determined to find this night
visitors name. As i scanned the star charts my effort was finally rewarded .
>From this point on the story this celestrial light seemed to be trying to
tell me fell smoothly and effortlessly into place....

YOU DECIDE

As i stared at the star chart , and read its name "Algols", it tweaked my
memory of something i had read in one of Nostradamus's Quatrains,
Angolmois....

In 1999 and seven months From the sky will descend a great terrifying King
Who will resuscitate the great King ANGOLMOIS. Before and after, Mars reigns
happily.

Though not an exact spelling I figured i follow my intuiton and move
on..."In 1999 and seven months ", now the seventh month to us is July but
look at this.....

September -- the seventh month

Middle English septembre

Latin September

Latin septem "seven" + -ber (adj. suffix)

Latin september mensis "seventh month"

So if you accept it, the first part of the riddle is solved. On to the next
part of the riddle...

As i continued my research on the Star Algol, I came across this interesting
"coincidence".. it seems that Comet Lee will be crossing the celestrial
heavens in the third week of September.... the seventh month......just north
of the constellation Perseus , where the mighty King Algol resides

So could Comet Lee be the terrifying king to descend from the sky and awaken
, or resuscitate the great King angolmois or Algol

Here is the most recent picture of Comet Lee and you can see to its
southeast or actually west ,as everything is reversed in photos , The King
Algol

So is there to be some great celestrial happening in the third week of
September as Comet Lee traverses the heavens and approaches the great star
Algol.???.....We will have to wait and see as the heavens seem to protect
their secrets quite well but maybe this is the event Nostradamus was trying
to clue us into...... YOU DECIDE........

EMAIL, 9/19/99 3:41:09 PM Pacific Daylight Time: Algol is the Medusa's Head in the constellation Perseus. This fixed star was considered by the Ancients as "the most evil star in the heavens."

The Hebrews named Algol "Rosh ha Sitan" Satan's Head. The Chinese named it "Tseih She" the Piled-up Corpses. The Ancient Arabian astrologers gave it names such as the Demon, The Demon's Head, and the Blinking Demon (due to Algol's binary eclipse every 68+ hours). Was Nostradamus saying: "King of the Demons?"

The evil "influences" of Algol back in Nostodamus' time included: misfortune, violence, decapitation, hanging, electrocution and mob violence. Another (more recent) observation involving Algol: "Events effecting large number's of people, especially those events caused by major meteorological phenomena." (Noonan)

MAIL, 9/21/99 9:28:45 AM Pacific Daylight Time: I don't know whether you were aware of it, but back in 1997 when Comet Hale-Bopp made it's glorious tour of our neighborhood, at one point it occulted (covered) the demon star Algol... and many an astrologer were discussing it at the time. Algol represents the "third eye" in the head of Medusa, and was considered a very bad influence star by the Arab/Chaldean astrologers.

Now, oh it was about a piece 'bout the space of two of my fingers west'a this here Perseus feller, I'll be danged, if'n I didn't see some fallin' stars. The durnd'st thing from this little patch'a hev'n; it was shootin' out them fallin' stars more then usu'l. And ta beat all, they was going ev'r which-way (south ta' north, north ta' south, east ta' west and west ta' east- Ain't that sumthin'!! Now, I reckin' I watch'd 'em 'til 'bout 4:30 in the AM. All toll'd, thar was 'bout 8 of 'em. If'n ya can see that Polaris star and them Pleiades, jes' draw a 'maginary line 'tween 'em. Divy that line inta 3. 2/3 the way from that Polaris to them Pleiades is that Perseus feller. Jes' west'a him is this here star cannon or sumthin' where all these fallin' stars is comin' from. I had some binoclars, but I couldn't see that Lee star, or the terrible sight, but I guess it don't mean it couldn't be thar, or that this here star cannon ain't gonna crank up the nuuumbers. I think a'm gonna take apeek at it tomorrow nite,same time same place. I all'ys did like layin' on my back star-lookin'. An' if'n my maker sees fit ta' take me, so be it. Bless ya' all from Montana. This is quite common for comets to begin to break up or shed pieces as it encroaches closer to the sun. The brightening is indications that it has broken off some larger shards. It will pulsate like this until it gets to apogee, then dim as it enters perigee.

Check the orbit simulation, it's already quite away from the sun and even never comes such close to her than normal comets.
