girl, just get out and do a 360 scan of the sky tonight, if you are in a location to see it you cant miss it, it's astonishingly bright and sticks out like a sore thumb. hope you can see it, it's trippy man. |

OK, so now not only do we have THREE comets in the same patch of sky, we also have a mystery object hurtling through Orions belt ?
Add to this other strange sights in the sky, and i am beggining to wonder just what the hell is going on.
3 comets ? 3 ! come on folks, since when have 3 damn comets been viewable at one time ? ok so to might need scopes, but they are still visible, and one has a bloody tail that points TOWARDS the sun. Yes thats right, one comet has two tails, one points AWAY, the other points TOWARDS the sun.

This is in reply to the poster who is seeing a craft or object flashing and moving about.
I saw it too last night driving home. It was a bright light on the horizon roughly north north east at about 30 degrees above the horizon. It then passed over head, and thinking it was a cool satellite, I stopped and got out to look (roads empty where I live) I stood slack jawed as it did a 90 degrees turn, and proceeded east.

i'm terrible at math and stuff, but you seen it from nw scotland low on the horizon. at night. i seen it from ne,tenn/mideast usa, high in the slightlywest north sky at appx.7pm, latest sighting it had moved more to the west and was fainter, still high in the sky, and around 8pm. anyone good at math stuff can get a feel for location or whatever? i will report on what i see or dont see tonight. its around 1pm here now. Thanks for that, but I think you are confusing comet 50P/Arend with comet Arend-Roland, Comet (C/1956 R1). 50P/Arend is the unremarkable very dim comet not too far (in terms of where it appears from Earth) from comet 17P/Holmes:

It may or may not be related, but within the past week my frequency of seeing, 11:11, 1:11, 12:12, 3:33, 5:55, 4:44, and basically every sequence of numbers has increased big time, it seems like every time I have looked at the clock I have run into these sequences. Weird. |

isn't the comet the opposite of the centre of the galaxy. no expert here, but if the sun is about to enter Sagitarrius, and the centre of the galaxy is close to Sag, then this wave must have bypassed us, and made a beeline for p17.

I wrote an email to my local news station.
Basically the letter said, here's what it is, here's what it's doing, why isn't this being talked about. Nothing really woo woo in the letter as that would just scare them off.
I mean hellloooo, it's not like this thing is somewhere where we can't see it and therefore relying on third party reports. It's right up there in our face where ANYONE can see, track, and photograph it. They can't just ignore it and think it'll go away or we won't look at it if they don't talk about it.

i went thru a phase like that awhile back and the 1111 thing has been talked about for a few years. don't know what it means but i think theres something to it. from what i know, the recent events earth and sky are coming to the conclusion i have been waiting for, so anything you see and feel, dont be so quick to discount. my totally unenchanted and mundane mother was the first person i know to see the not-hubblecraft move, so, ya know, the spirit is a movin and shakin and ya never know where its gonna show up. |

Well, I do not know and do not believe that this comet is something to fear of. But recently I have felt extremely weird. I have been practising meditation for a very long time now, and this is something I have never felt before.
I am talking about the kind of felling that makes you stop in the middle of the street because something is going on. Lately, this has been stronger and stronger. Today I had to find a place to sit because that "felling" was unbearable.
Like something "calling" you. Everywhere. You look all around you, see the people, feel the atmosphere, feel others people thoughts. And suddenly, but for a brief moment, everything seems to "click". It is so strong, this "calling" and awareness of your environment, that I need to stop doing whatever I am doing and take some rest.
Related to the comet? I don not know. But I am SURE that there are others there that are also felling this "call". |
