This comet is exceedingly easy to follow. I've been following it naked eye since the brightening, and its postion relative to the two nearest bright stars (Alpha and Delta Persei) has only changed slightly. You won't need any new charts for the next few days. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 122589

The answer may be sinkholes. There is growing evidence that some comets and asteroids may have a porous internal structure akin to, say, swiss cheese or a honycomb. hubble wrote back today and explained what we pretty much knew about sattelite activities, said it was not the hubblecraft. strange, the guy who told me he saw it on the news report said it was in the nw sky and thats where they were moving it from, and that is where i saw it. lucky guess, i guess, and the jerk was just yanking my chain. so i guess hubble is cleared of any covert coverups on this one. i'm talking about the moving star, not the so called comet. |

That's ok AC, let me just give you a tip.....when you quote someone at the top of the post it says quote and then who it is. The body of their quote appears after that and you can delete whatever you would like so that you can focus on a certain statement if you'd like. It is then followed at the bottom by [ / quote ]. Just be sure that whatever you type is AFTER that /quote thing.
Also, you have been quite a source of info on this thread and it is hard to keep the ACs straight. Above your post it says 'User Name'. You can delete that and type in whatever name you would like. You don't have to be a member to do that. So go ahead and make yourself up a name and then I can instantly tell that it is you. [Edit, ahhh I see that you did holy ufoy... nice to see ya]
