If you mess with the letters in HOLMES, you can find ELOHM, or ELOHIM - minus the "S".
ELOHIM is a powerful word, Hebrew for "God" and used over 2000 times in the Bible, I believe.
Maybe ELOHM, not spelled correctly, is the false Christ?

For Christ sake! I saw the scientists blabbing about sinkholes being the possible cause of Holmes expansion... are they nuts? Do they think we are nuts? and these assholes are educated where? fuck... as good as the bear with mange, or when the power went out in three states years ago, it was a tree fell on the line...
If we get pics they will be altered or only half the truth.
Once HOMES (I hereby offically refuse to call it a "comet" any longer) the media will say something like "don't worry, enjoy it while it lasts" or "optical phenonemon" and that would be that.
Meanwhile, strange activity going on in politics, change of language, change of allies, change of people's minds, increase of speed.
If HOLMES is a sign that we are indeed facing (living?) the end times, no need to panic though. For all we know it's not going to be pretty, but after all Jesus is coming to save us, and that is not a bad thing at all.
Positive mindset can help.

Ok... After reading and watching for years, occasionaly stumbling upon revelations HERE IS WHAT I THINK IS GOING ON.
Our system is entering a very dusty part of space, in space the dust particles could be very large to very small - after all it is space dirt. The past few years eyes have been on the Sun - acting up and being calm - but watching. I believe this is an electric universe - as it seems to be a very arguable idea. Imagine now the comet being a charged mass - sorta like a capacitor in space. As it enters a "dusty" area it's charge attracts dust, like a dust rag. We just had a Comet come thru in pieces - SW7 or something like that - this comet was spewing debris and doing things that amazed the experts. In short it left alot of space dirt in our neighborhood. Add to this the cosmic dust cloud we are encountering ( ) and a staic attractraction to a charged mass and we just may have a dust collector - and maybe that is how planets are born. First in a highly elliptical orbit around a star - then as it grows a dusty gasy planet forms and as its mass grows it's orbit slows and evens into an ever circular orbit. What starts out as an Ice dwarf - a Pluto- Draws dust if it's way orbit is preturbed by a collision or larger body gravity. Next it turns nto a comet - and if dust collection is suffeicent turn into a gas planet - maybe even with rings of debris - then a solid planet if more dust is collected as the gravity intensifies. If the "Comet" is a renegade Ice Chunk and able to form a rocky planet this would be where water is - rare conditions - but to me my idea fits what we know.

Our solar system's natural defenses are down and a vigorous cosmic dust storm is blowing through, according to a new study. The forecast calls for a prolonged and increasing blizzard of small interstellar bits.
While no serious consequences are expected, the extra dust could slightly alter our night sky and might pose an increased risk to spacecraft, which are vulnerable to high-speed impacts from the tiny particles.
The whole scenario is also a vivid reminder that there is no such thing as empty space.
The number of incoming particles recently tripled and the pace is expected to grow over the next decade. Terrestrial weather and climate will not likely be affected, but more shooting stars could grace the night sky, said the study's leader, Markus Landgraf of the European Space Agency (ESA).

All these observations reveal a tailless round yellowish fuzzball in the constellation Perseus. Near infrared images of comet P/17 Holmes, obtained with the 1.6m Ritchey-Chretien telescope at Mont Megantic Observatory (Qc, Canada), indicate a small tail-like feature next to the comet's head.
The images were obtained by graduate student Sandie Bouchard and night assistant Bernard Malenfant on the morning of October 26, using SIMON, a Near Infrared Polarimetric Imager.

The collision caused the complete detachment of the cometÂ’s plasma tail. Comets are icy leftovers from the solar system's formation billions of years ago. They usually hang out in the cold, distant regions of the solar system, but occasionally a gravitational tug from a planet, another comet, or even a nearby star sends them into the inner solar system. Once there, the sun's heat and radiation vaporizes gas and dust from the comet, forming its tail. Comets typically have two tails, one made of dust and a fainter one made of electrically conducting gas, called plasma.

Bingo. There's a very good, logical reason why the "cloud" surrounding Holmes is/was spherical.
There are two reasons actually.
One is gravity. Possible that Holmes could "capture" dust into orbit around itself... but not very likely in the short space of time this was observed to happen.
The other reason is electricity.
This is very very likely an "electric" event - plasmas - and yet scientists continue to hang onto dirty snowball theories.
Don't fret tho, as I said before - "scientists" eventually DID realize the earth isn't flat...

Another weird thing about this comet is that there doesn't seem to be up to date repoting even any at all in the main news media. And many sites with daily updates about observations seem to be down...HMMMM
May anyone tell me where in the sky can I find comet Holmes. Is it in sky of north, south, east or west. I cannot see the comet until now. Please please tell me....

The strangest comet to burst onto the celestial scene in our lifetime is easy to see with your bare eyes — even if your sky is fairly light-polluted. You just have to know exactly where to look.
After dinnertime, go outside, find a spot where bright lights don’t glare into your eyes, and face northeast. Look high up for the W-shaped constellation Cassiopeia, a landmark of the autumn sky. Look lower right of Cassiopeia by about a fist and a half at arm’s length. The brightest star there is Mirfak, also called Alpha Persei.
Mirfak is the top corner a smallish triangle, as shown. The triangle is about the size of your thumb at arm’s length.
The triangle’s lower-left corner is Comet Holmes.
If you go out later in the night, Cassiopeia, Mirfak, and the comet will be even higher in the northeast and turned around somewhat. Around 11 p.m., use the chart at right.
(All this applies to people living in the world’s north temperate latitudes. If you’re in the tropics or the Southern Hemisphere, the sky scene will be oriented differently; use our interactive sky chart to see how.)
