Well, as im in a very remote rural area I get a great look at it. The skies over head are full of rai, but hopefully by tonight they will disapear and leave me great comet watching clear skies.
The UKs actually had some great skies for this. |

Now this, this is the total and utter dogs b######s of VIDEO FOOTAGE of Holmes from a huge amateur telescope.
Watch as he switches filters to show the core of the comet, and then takes off the filter....
Look at the light it is giving out ! The filters block out huge amounts, and as he takes the filter off.....
Its freaking awesome.

Like all celestial objects it is in constant motion, and unless your telescope is constantly moving to compensate, you will get this erratic movement as seen in the footage.
Its just the scope being re-aligned with the comet so we can see it thats all - oh and the brightness is as different filters are applied to show different views. |
