Naked Eye Comet Holmes - The Jelly fish Larger Than The Sun!

17P/ Holmes is still thrilling observers all over the world since it increased a million times in brightness on Oct 23rd from magnitude +17 to +2.2 in less than 24 hours. The images now appearing on the internet taken by amateur astronomers are simply incredible. The above image was captured by Ivan Eder from Budapest, Hungary (Europe) on Nov 4th 2007 (visit his website). On this image and on many others comet Holmes looks like a giant Jelly Fish. The 'head' of this fish is composed of gas and dust larger than the diameter of the Sun making Holmes the largest object in the solar system. The 'tentacles' are a series of extremely complex Ion tails getting buffeted by changes in the solar wind. The dust is leaving the tiny 3km icy nucleus at some 600m/sec after it exploded into view as an intruder in the constellation Perseus two weeks ago.

This is the largest cometary outburst ever observed since records began making Holmes a most unusual comet and a once in a life time object for star gazers and members of the public alike.
believe that the comet's nucleus collided with a small asteroid or the comet itself had a companion nucleus which impacted the primary component. If correct then this is the 2nd impact ever witnessed in our solar system since Shoemaker-Levy-9 collided with planet Jupiter in 1994. Holmes is expected to stay visible for some as it gradually fades from view however there could be another outburst at the beginning of 2008 so don't take your eyes of this comet!.

I am curious about the apparent contradiction of professed ignorance regarding Holmes and the following
prediction of another outburst.

Is it a planetary alignment they are acknowledging which would, IMO, support the electrical theory rather than their gravitational theory?

Just a little perplexed by the professional logic I guess.

Okay, I am finally checking out this Comet Holmes.

I don't know why I was never compelled to get excited about it. I took no interest in this thread. I never went outside to look for it. I find that strange because I was all over Comet Neat.

Anyhoo, I looked at some of the pictures/videos posted and I have come to the gut conclusion that this is NOT a comet as defined by science.

This phenomenon is a spirit energy putting out a very strong burst of energy. If this spirit were physically here on Earth then they would be enlightened emitting a very strong aura. A golden child, a Christ, or whatever label you choose to use.

I just get the feeling that it is a soul...not a chunk of ice or dust particles per se...but is an energy--A soul energy.

I have seen and personally experienced an amazing event that happened right before my eyes in a waking state. Out of the night sky, just to the right of a crescented moon....what appeared to be twinkling star began to blink and dance in the sky. My husband and I were walking and it went through all types of aerial gymnastics to get our attention. "Hey look at me!!!" is what feeling we got. So, we stopped and paid attention and then outbursted. As my husband and I watched in amazement oyr mouths dropped open and we were frozen in awe.

Our ears were ringing and whooshing, pressurising and de-ressurizing, and then this star energy began to pulsate. The sound frequencies/vibrations/pressures were musical in a sense. We were being talked to...telepathically or celestialpathically. <<<< I made that word up ;)

After it was finished with its sky show....it basically sent the message that "it had to go and to take care" and collapsed within itself...once it was gone...we could hear a very high pitched "peek" sound...similar to turning off a television.

Now, my usband and I had just suffered a miscariage. I was released from the hospital the day before. We feel that experience was meant for us who were full of grief and sorrow. We know that light, sound, and energy we felt was the soul energy of our child who wasn't able to manifest here and had returned to the heavens. It was an "I'm okay...See" message.

So, my point is...that the immediate feeling I got when I looked at the pics and videos in this post was that it was not a "rock of ice and gas" but an "entity". Perhaps this entity was using the rock as a easy way to travel into this dimension--a conservationist, no doubt. When the time was right, it outbursted...sending waves of energy out larger than the sun....

I am curious WHO is this energy that is so loudly screaming "look at me"? Is it telepathically communicating with anyone/anything on Earth? I haven't looked outside and maybe I will now. But, since I wasn't initially drawn to look outside I don't think there was a message for me, directly. No downloads here. But, I can say my ears have been a bit sensitive lately.



Yes i do agree ..spirits do create. That intangible world is limitless in the creation abilities. All that needs to come will come. All that needs to happen will happen. Love MUST manifest itself into its purest form. Start with the greatest quality there is and there is no limit.

1. We are looking into an end point of a worm hole, either naturally occuring or created by other beings traveling to our solar system

this is an interesting theory
5. The Sun is acting as a radio tower and the "comets" mass is in a "right spot/time" acting as a reciever in harmony with the Sun radiating solar energy. Just like Nikola Tesla had done with electricity.
6. A severe gravity distortion spinning large amounts of energy and mass. Like a vortex spinning in and out together. The "Bow Tie" look from hubble pics supports such a theory
7. Energy from another dimension/Zero-Point Energy is bursting through
8. The beginning of the alignment with the Galaxy center coming in 2012 (whether that be 2007 or 2012, depends on calender)
9. A form of life. Either supernatural or mortal
10. A device built by our ancestors timed to go off signalling something
11. A secret human spaceship catastrophically being destroyed
12. A gravity/magnetic knot bursting. Just like solar disturbances

I'm deeply interested by #5. I read a lot about Nikola Tesla and this could very well be a frequency anomaly. Several pages earlier in this forum I remarked about the sun expressing a strange vibration seen in a SOHO image with link to pic. Somehow Zero-Point Energy might be involved as well.

I can get with a few of these possibilities...we shall soon see.

The Monster of the Night Skies

The comet 17P/Holmes has astronomers around the world scratching their heads in confusion. The heavenly body just keeps getting bigger -- and is now twice the diameter of our sun.

Comets, of course, are no rarity. And it seems like every couple of years or so, one becomes big and bright enough that it can easily be seen from Earth. But the behavior of 17P/Holmes has mystified both hobby astronomers and professionals around the globe.

Rather than shrinking as it gets further from the sun as most comets do, this one just keeps getting bigger and brighter. At the beginning of the week, the cloud of dust and gas surrounding the comet's core -- called the coma -- had already grown larger than the sun. Now, just a few days later, the coma's diameter is twice that of the sun -- the dust cloud measures some 2.7 million kilometers across whereas the sun is just 1.39 million kilometers across. And there is no sign that it is finished.

"The comet is now a long ways away, but the dust cloud is still growing," Dr. Maciej Mikolajewski from the Torun Center for Astronomy at Nicolaus Copernicus University told SPIEGEL ONLINE. "It's the first time I've ever seen such a thing. I've never seen such a bright comet in my life."

Even more interesting than the celestial body's sheer size, however, is that scientists aren't totally sure why it suddenly exploded in brightness throughout October and November. The comet is no longer close enough to the Earth to be readily visible without a telescope, but the head scratching in the scientific community continues.

Mikolajewski, whose institute has been following the path of the comet for more than a month, says that a chemical reaction within the core of 17P/Holmes could be to blame for the explosion in size and brightness. Or, he says, it could have run into an asteroid as it sped through the inner part of the solar system. "Both of those hypotheses are possible," he says.

Frank Brenker, a comet researcher at the University of Frankfurt, likewise thinks that the comet may have run into something. "The impact theory is most plausible," he told SPIEGEL ONLINE. Most comets do gain in size and brightness as they get closer to the sun. But this comet, oddly, doubled in size as it was traveling away from the sun, making it unlikely that the sun was to blame.

The comet 17P/Holmes was discovered in 1892 by the British astronomer Edwin Holmes. That year, the comet was briefly bright enough to be visible with the naked eye before disappearing once again into the nether reaches of the solar system. Every seven years, the four-kilometer wide chunk of ice swings through the center part of the solar system before once again being catapulted back out into space.

Comets often achieve impressive sizes when they are warmed by the sun, and tails can sometimes stretch for thousands of kilometers. "A gigantic comet is nothing all that special," confirms Ulrich Christensen, head of comet and planet research at the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research. "But a diameter larger than the sun is certainly unusual."

It could be that researchers never find out exactly what happened to 17P/Holmes. It has been speeding away from the Earth ever since Nov. 7 according to the US space administration NASA. It will be back in 2014.
