thanks, I have been trying to locate it ... northeast horizon, right ?
Quoting: OouaYeah, northeast. It's pretty high above the horizon right now where I am around 9 pm local time. Note you can observe this comet all night in the Northern hemisphere. Around midnight to 2am local time, the comet is almost directly overhead. (it's also the darkest part of the night and has the least atmospheric interference, looking directly up) So that spaceweather.com finding chart for early evening becomes kind of irrelevant as the night goes. If you can't find Cassiopia or Perseus later in the night, use a whole sky chart for your location like those on heavens-above.com. Happy hunting! It's easy!
