I met a person the other day who said she was A positive when tested with her first pregnancy and then she was A negative for her second. The doctors could not explain it....

Re: Has your blood type changed???
Sure would explain why no Marines seem to have changing blood-types..

heh

Anyhow, as I understand it, it isn't possible for ones blood-type to be altered. The marker will always remain the same, but there are certain circumstances in which the blood-type can *appear* different. I'm unsure as to what those particular circumstances are, however. Though, I have heard scuttlebutt that a particular corporation, and the US military, have been experimenting with some sort of injection to cause ones blood to become 'universal.' They couldn't get their synthetic blood to work, so that was the next logical step I suppose. Perhaps they experimented on you, or one of those circumstances came your way.

Well I don't know about blood types changing but I do know I used to have herpes but it is gone now. The doctors can't explain it. My doc says my blood is the purest he has ever seen.

Re: Has your blood type changed???
O+

The blood type may not have changed there could have been a mix up in the laboratory (not unheard of)

All the peoples of the world other than those of Sub-Saharan Africa are the decendents of one couple from East Africa (Y chromosome and mitochondrial DNA studies).

Europeans are decended from just 7 women (mitochondrial DNA) One women was the ancestral mother of 41% of all Europeans and 6 women mothered the remainder.

But the thing is there is no trace of it at all in my blood anymore. I never had a outbreak other then on my lip (thank God I never had it in the genital area!) The docs say it is like I never had it at all. I have not had a cold sore in over 15 years.

Re: Has your blood type changed???
funny thing i was looking for another thread about blood type and ETs and I found this.
Yes my blood type use to be AB and now is O+ how this can happen? I never get a transfusion, and never was in the army much less the US army or navy.

Re: Has your blood type changed???
They'll probably come after me now - but I think I have alien blood. Two true stories -- in a college science class, they were typing blood and applying the normal drops. My blood didn't react like it was supposed to so there was never a definitive answer. Second story, I went to the hospital for surgery. They took blood in the afternoon and someone from the lab came back to my room in the evening and asked me if I knew what my blood type was and took more blood. They of course gave me O, the universal donor -- but don't know what my real blood type is. Maybe Z?

Re: Has your blood type changed???
I remember going in for a surgical procedure at age 16 yrs and glancing at the chart which stated type: O.

18 yrs later, i went in for another surgical procedure, looked at the blood work sheet and stated AB-.

The labs always redundantly test when prepping for surgery so I know it was correct.

I dug up some old blood work results--in my twenties which state my type as O+ but the results in my thirties state AB-.

Somethings up.

You would really be surprised how many blood types there are ABO are the most common but there is a list of rare blood types that are based on ethnicity, genetic markers, etc..

from that link

Under the ABO Blood typing (grouping) scheme, there are two especially important antigens called A and B. Every living human has either one or both or neither of the red Blood cells. An individual with Blood group A is so because he has antigen A. Antigen B makes a person's Blood group B. If a person has both antigens, then they are in group AB. If they have neither, the Blood group is O.

Antibodies against these two antigens are found in Blood plasma. Some of the components of each Blood type act against other components.

For example, Blood groups A, B, AB and O have antigens A, B, A&B and 'none' respectively. The antibodies are anti B, anti A, 'none' and anti A + anti B.

-------------
So I produce so many antibodies that change my bloo type from AB to O+ ?

This simply cannot happen. The lab fucked up the results on one of the blood tests you took. You're blood type will be the same on the day you're born as it is on the day you die.

Re: Has your blood type changed???
Okay, listen up. Sometimes the Rh factor reacts very weakly with the antisera. The tech will report the result as "Rh Negative" because he or she missed the weak reaction.
AS far as ABO grouping, that will NEVER change UNLESS you have had a bone marrow transplant!

Everyone in the Navy IS vaccinated so that MIGHT have something to do with it.

It might have something to do with the gay, too. Who knows?

Does your blood type have anything to do with your DNA? If so, Magestic on the below link made this comment:

We can't just believe in the old paradigms any more, we are creatures of frequency which codes for form.

If the frequency changes (which it is) the form changes. Google "chladni figures" for a good visual on how this happens with sand on a metal plate.

Water is especially sensitive to frequency and blood is not much thicker than water !

Re: Has your blood type changed???
Yes my blood has changed many times. I have had many transfusions and with them my type migrates. it is now very hard to match my blood because of the rare antibodies that I have. When I was first transfused I was not a hard match. From my first transfusion of 9 pints of blood. (my skin color was flat- greyish colored) I believe that I contracted Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus. I have since had three more transfusions and every time I receive them something changes. I am now O+ with funky antibodies. I was O- before any transfusions.
