Interesting, NC here, it’s working for me, but my 2020 vote is listed under absentee ballot, accepted, on the date I voted in person (I early voted), but I didn’t vote absentee. Are they counting early voting as absentee votes?

Ok I finally got in and my voter history has nothing for this year. I voted in-person on election day.

early vote is an absentee vote. You're allowed to vote early since you wont be able to vote on election day

I have received 60-70 texts for someone with a different first name but same last name in the last two weeks asking about how I will vote. The fake name is registered Democrat but hasn't never voted when I checked their voter info yesterday. His mylife has all my family members listed....

There are Fake book posts cropping up here in different community pages where folks are perplexed about few different glitches.

One woman said her vote was made but invalidated, not accepted.

The whole idea of recording voter registration (party affiliations) is a bad idea that probably has downstream social impacts related to jury selection and insurance rates.

In some places The Jury duty pool is selected from registered voters. If a defense lawyer needed a quick unobtrusive way to measure the likelihood a particular jury candidate would be inclined to be lenient towards his client he might consider only selecting or rejecting candidates based on the prospective juror’s voting record in addition to a few strategic questions.

Also, only a very few people in my neighborhood had the gumption to put campaign signs in their yards or bumper stickers on their cars. But if my landlord or boss finds out I’m affiliated with the other party...well...you get the idea.

Suppose the insurance company does a non-published study showing a correlation between party affiliation and increased or decreased accident rates? And then they discover that my neighborhood is predominantly made up of the riskiest party...my rates go up just for living near the careless drivers...of course they would never tell me that is why my rates went up...and they would never lower the rates if the dynamic changed.

Suppose the outcome of this current election pushes someone who was on the edge over the line of good mental condition... so that they blame anyone who voted for the other party...now they stumble onto the voter registration affiliation website...then they target their thing on it!
