i believe everyone is born 'souled'.

located between the heart and the throat is the spiritual heart centre, the physical location of the soul in the body.

through the trauma we go through, be it at an early age, pre birth, or later on in life the body is affected; and unless we have the 'programming' to shed/release these traumatic energies they build up causing stagnation in the energy field.

the soul is unable to handle the trauma as it manifests etherically, and without a conscious awareness of the energy system to help heal, the soul is forced to leave the body.

when we begin to loose our soul, we loose our ground; and vice versa. the souls location in the body is a direct relfection of your groundedness.

most people today are so 'out of body' that they are no longer connected to them selves (soul is not in the spiritual heart centre) and are thus run by the maniacal brain centre (ego).

you can also centre your awareness in your head to help heed the ego. the location would be in the centre between the top of your ears.

you can also allign with the universe through your 'hara line' which runs essentially up and down the spine, out the first and seventh chakra's. connecting through the first to the core of the earth, and the seventh to god/heavan/love you bring yourself into allignment with the universe.
