heart palpitations..
so I get heart palpitations frequently. usually when I don't sleep well. there was a time that I missed so much sleep that the heart palpitations started and since I never recovered from that, I can't recover the sleep I mean, I get it frequently even if I miss very little sleep for a night (i.e. less than 8 hrs, I get the heart palpitations)

so w/e. and I try doing excercise too. I have a weak and tired heart now and I don't know what to do about it.

Re: heart palpitations..
well its not just a palpitation I guess. I just called it that because I thought that's what you call pain in your heart area. but pain is what I get , of cardiovascular weakness and tiredness

Re: heart palpitations..
sometimes....a rampant but slight infection in the bloodstream can cause the heart to react this way.

Mine was from a bad tooth....imagine that.

I can personally attest to this treatment of the possible root cause of your symptoms.

The benefits are far reaching beyond your immediate symptoms.

just a thought ...do your own study

if you are having chest pains.. seek a doctor.

Your stress level has to be way too high. You probably don't realize because you are used to it. You need lifestyle changes.

I was also going to suggest a possible potassium or magnesium deficiency. Also, cayenne pepper and hawthorn berries are good for the heart.

cq10 my friend, I know what you are talking about, same here.

CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10

CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10

CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10 CQ10

about 400 mg a day.

Do you know what your ejection fracture is?

Mine got as low as 25, prescription meds never raised it.

CQ10 got it back up in the 40's and holding steady for 2 years now and I'm off the scrips.

Re: heart palpitations..
You should at least have an EKG done if it continues, just to be sure. It most likely is anxiety/depression. The fact that you aren't sleeping well is another symptom of it. If that's the case, I suggest a book called Mind over Matter by Dennis Greenberger and Christine Padesky.

Review

"What are you struggling with in your life? What patterns in thinking have held you trapped over the years? How can you develop and automatize a new way of seeing things that helps get you out of ruts you have maintained over the years? Drs. Padesky and Greenberger give you practice in learning how to make sense of your moods, to identify your own irrational thinking and to base your thinking fully on facts. They even give you a means to challenge old thinking patterns that you developed as a child. I saw Dr. Padesky demonstrate these skills at a cognitive therapy conference. I walked away very impressed with her warm, sincere, knowledgeable, creative and rational approach to helping people change. I am delighted to recommend this workbook."--Ellen Kenner, PhD, clinical psychologist and host of The RATIONAL Basis of Happiness, a nationally syndicated radio talk show.

It is a lesson book with worksheets. It takes a lot of concentration to get through the book, because it teaches you how to identify your true feelings in different situations and you have to decide what you are thinking that causes the emotional/physical reaction. Then it teaches you how to change the way you think so that you don't continue to have those reactions. It's an excellent tool for not only depression, but addiction too. Try it. Amazon.com has it for around $8-10 used. Or your local bookstore can order it if they don't already have it in stock.

Good luck.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Re: heart palpitations..
If you have "a weak and tired heart," you'd best get to a cardiologist. You may be suffering from congestive heart failure and may need a pacemaker. Don't wait until your heart gets so tired it stops the way mine did. All the soaks and alternative medicine won't help you, you must get to a cardiologist. If you begin to see your lips ringed in blue, if the blood vessels in your hands seem to disappear, your heart is not pumping the way it should. Tiredness is one of the first symptoms.

alot of people react to monosodium glutamate and diacetyl that way, also you may have 'sleep apnea'. Get your blood test and ekg first. And don't tell me you "can't afford it" if you're online with broadband and have cable tv.

Dr. Weeks tackled this problem way before most doctors had a clue about it!

This book is still the best remedy for the kind of problem you are experiencing.

Believe it or not, if you will simply read this book and follow it's "easy" advice, you will be cured-and cured for good!

Good luck.

I get it only rarely, under extreme stress and bad diet.

As soon as I remove the stress and improve the diet the problem went away.

Focus on diet and relaxation first. Avoid heavy exercise until you can fix this part first. Walking is fine though.
