How I met Jesus Christ: My testimony

Greetings,

I would like to share with you how I came to know Jesus Christ. My hope is that my testimony would change some of your minds about Jesus Christ, and bring some of you who are non-belivers in Him.

I ask that you all please read this. I really do appreciate your time.

I experienced Jesus' saving power, and his healing power and His delivering power. He just came to me.

John 3:8 - "The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

I got saved at the age of about 21 and my family was a Christian family. So, I was not saved because I went to Church and because someone taught me to believe. In fact I was never told me about God that I could remember as a child. I believe I just went to church with my family and that was about it except for Sunday School on occasion.

One day in Church, Jesus just came upon me. I did nothing... It was like BAM! I know He is real.

I went to church while growing up and I got baptized as a child. I just went up to the front and the pastor asked me a question and I said yes. There was no change in me whatsoever. I left the church the same way I walked in.

During my HighSchool years church was pretty much just go because my parents would basicly make me go. My mom would say "get your clothes together were going to Church in the morning". I was not to thrilled.

During my college years while I was home I still attended Church with my family. But, still was not saved. Then the assitant pastor was talking about people who have lost their way and I just broke down.

I had NEVER just cried in Church before. I mean NEVER. I might have shown some emotion if the Pastor told a joke, but that was about it.

Jesus saved me and delivered me on the spot. The evil spirit that controlled my life had to leave.

I'm not kidding. There was an INSTANT change in me. When I say INSTANT I mean INSTANT. I was a BRAND NEW person on the inside. When I got home I no longer wanted to do the things I used to do. I did not want to lie, curse, steal and do the things I used to do. INSTANT CHANGE.

I was also homosexual. Satan had to flee from me. The evil spirit that controlled me life was cast out of me by Jesus Christ Himself.

Matthew 12:16 -"And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?"

I am not telling you what anyone told me or what I heard. I tell you what I experienced.

Please think on these things. He is who He said He was.
