Sen Joe McCarthy ~ One of the greatest patriots in American History | |

One need only to examine closely the copius newsreels from the final months of his witchhunts to see what type of man he truly was: Disheveled, unshaven and barely able to string enough words together to form a coherant thought. Let's also not forget his not-so-hidden attraction to Roy Cohn. Quoting: gsbltdAND NO AMOUNT OF REVISIONIST RAVINGS ON THE PART OF THE OP [or his source material] CAN EVER CHANGE WHAT I'VE STATED ABOVE. History has already judged Joseph McCarthy and judged him fairly: he was a blister upon the foot of democracy and a supreme embarrassment upon this nation during a particularly trying period in our past. Once again: the OP is merely adopting a controversial stance to elicit heated rsponses. Do no let him succeed. DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS THREAD AND LET IT DIE A QUICK DEATH. That is the only way to defeat this type of adversary. ![]() Too late, asshole. Joe was right: there were actual commie spies within the U.S. government. Joe was fighting a difficult battle against a stubborn federal bureaucracy, a protective liberal media, an unwilling Congress, and a half-hearted Eisenhower administration, all of them doesn't wanted to acknowledge they allowed commies to infiltrate the U.S. government at the highest level and refused to acknowledge the stupidity and treason they'd perpetuated against the American people. Sure, Joe's tactics were problematic in the House of UnAmerican Activities Committee but the commies' activities in the U.S. government were treasonous and they all should have been hung a long time. Noose up the commie fuckers. |

It's clearer today than it was back then that there are evil forces at work in the highest places trying to destroy this country. Too bad labeling people like him is a fine art they learned to master long ago. |

He went out looking for those traitors who would subvert the American Way of Life! He went out looking for Communists and Atheists, and he found them by the score hiding under the rocks and the skirts of women! Anyone who, in front of the House Committee on Un-American Activities, said, "I'm taking the Fifth" was condemned immediately and rightly kept from mixing with good, decent Americans, otherwise they would have set about destroying industry, religion, and the chance to become billionaires or President and their nasty ways would have corrupted the minds of the flower of our youth! The work took a long time, Senator Joe wasn't always thanked but only in 1975 could the House Committee on Un-American Activities sit back, relax and toast Senator Joe - they had done a good job and were warmly applauded. America was again free from the Internal Threat! The rich could sleep soundly and others could dream of riches! __________________ Amen nd the traitors was all sentenced to prison, and blacklisted from the entertainment industry, so that American cinema only would be patriotic, conservative and Christian, i can tell you that without senator Joe McCarthy we wouldnt have great stars like John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston and Ronald Reagan, instead we would have communist propaganda, porn and atheist movies that would turn America into a new Soviet Union. You know back in the 50's when there wasnt any internet, 100% of the American population based their political and moral views on the entertainment industry, therefore it was very important to only show patriotic cinema, and nothing else. Today, Hollywood isnt what it used to be, cause today, Hollywood is exactly what senator Joe McCarthy warned us for, an industry of filthy communist anti-American propaganda(like Avatar), porn(like "American" Pie and Hannah Montana) and heathen cinema(like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings), but today we also have internet which means people can base their political and moral views on websites like Landover Baptist Church through the internet and technology that allows parents to block un-American movies in their childrens DVD players JESUS IS LOVE vote republican |

| Life's-A-Bitch User ID: 1243271 01/14/2013 05:05 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Now the other idden history: during the Roosevelt administration it was members of the Communist Party who were the most dedicated and efficient workers the US has ever had. It was they that gave life to the New Deal. It was they that organized and single handedly lifted the wage rate above poverty levels. It was they that implemented the policies that gave relief from the humiliating effects of the Depression... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 323477 And what did they get for it? A witchhunt, the moment they werent needed. It wasnt only McCarthy, but the Dulles brothers and the House of Unamerican Activities, it was legislation deported immigrants, stripped naturalized US citizens of their citizenship, infiltrations of Unions to red bait members. In general, a disgusting era of concerted efforts to REVERSE the progress made the previous 20 years. Soviet spies in every corner? Hardly. Only hard working Americans committed to socialism, and a better society. This history doesnt even exist except behind the closed doors of those who experienced it first hand. So called liberals and conservatives evade the REAL truth. And the rest of the population has been thoroughly brainwashed to accept a sanitized version of history, one which allows PACMAN to claim that poor old McCarthy was misunderstood, a hero actually. We've heard this before, and we'll hear it again. The truth will die the moment the last person who knows the truth dies, and so will all resistance to the lies of both political establishments. Then history will be the lies that PACMAN wants it to be... History lesson again Success, like happiness, cannot be pursued. It must ensue. And it only does so as the unintended side effect of one's personal dedication to a cause greater than oneself.
