I'm sure there were many Germans who felt that Hitler was one of the greatest German patriots of all time..

delusional thinking is not limited to mental institutions, but can be found quite easily in poltics.

There are many disturbed individuals who hear God talking to them, and also believe they are either Napolean or Jesus Christ....

The only difference between Joe Mc Carthy and these individuals is that they are under the care of a psychiatrist, usually their delusions go away in time...

But when it comes to the political realm Crazy people can openly state they "talk to God", or can believe that they speak for "the people", when in fact they only speak for themselves...

hating others, is just a way of "jerking off" your anger, Joseph Mc Carthy will always be reviled by History, that will never change.

He did not defend this countries freedoms, but rather contributed to their downfall...because he helped distract people from the real enemies of the people, not communism, not Hugo Chavez, or Fidel Castro... or Emmanuel Goldstein,

But the 1%er's, the wealthy corporate families that are destroying our rights in the the name of their greed and hatred for the "eaters"....that they slave....

It does no good to speak of freedom, when you have slavery and hate in your heart....
