The sun is to the left of my neighbor's house now!.. In many years I have never seen it to the left (south) of his house.. no matter what season.. what the hell????

It's called winter.
And with Chandlers wobble exceling, it will go further than normal. Once the wobble peaks, we will have winteres like we had in the 70's.

Every year we get nearly identical threads about schizophrenics who never noticed how far south the sun gets in winter. Curiously we've yet to spiral into the sun or have New York be destroyed by glaciers, so it seems like the Earth is taking its time. Just like Planet X. Damn lazy planets obeying the laws of physics when we all know they really should be hurtling towards our imminent doom.

Last week I shot an azimuth of the sun at sunset. It was 242-244. The table said it should have been 262 at my location.
Today it should have set at 255.

Its the UV thats increasing. The "Heat" of the sun is the same. Its just putting out more ultraviolet than it used to. Thats why its is not "yellow" anymore..its now as bright as a welders arc.
I remember back in 1985 being able to look at the sun for short moments..and it was "yellow"...NOW...its got a flash like an arc..bright and unbearable.

The wobble cycle is 67 years. It restarted a few years ago. Thus the weather we've had, wobble hault we had.
If you don't know what the wobble is, google it. It basically rocks us back and forth on the axis while rotateing and doing normal orbital seasonal phases.
People will be saying it's wrong, they've never seen it like that--- because they actually hadn't.
That's not to say odd things wont happen up there that no one can explain, cause we all know better there too. Holmes is a perfect example. |
