### IRAN-CONOCO AFFAIR ### With our expected players Bush and Cheney
Quote

Tonight on another thread, I noticed a banner ad that was a graphic of the Iranian flag with the Conoco logo. Clicking on the ad took me to this essay:

The Iran-Conoco Affair

PDF is here:

We have GHW Bush.

We have Cheney.

We have Iran.

We have oil.

We have Dubai.

We have an "accidental" plane crash killing the then Pres. of Conoco as well as a person who had damning docs on GHW Bush.

We have Halliburton.

We have cover up.

And we have one very kick ass click-thru banner ad that takes one directly to the story.

This short essay presents the highlights of the above piece:

Iran-Conoco Affair
From: Foreign Affairs Table
By Iran-Conoco Affair | bio

Louis Fisher's new book "In the name of National Security -- Unchecked Presidential Power and the Reynolds Case" discusses how executive power has been abused to cover-up civil liability claims.

A previously unreported example of this same abuse of power to cover-up the causes for a plane crash to shield political cronies from civil liabilities is discussed on the website

In the Iran-Conoco Affair, Secretary of Defense Cheney ordered employees of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) participate in a DuPont-Conoco-AIG cover-up of the crimes that are discussed in detail on the Iran-Conoco Affair website.

Cheney’s motives were to allow his future employer (Halliburton) and Halliburton's client companies DuPont and Conoco to monopolize oil production in the rogue states of Libya, Iraq and Iran.

Now, Vice President Cheney has continued to participate in a cover-up of these crimes by ordering the AFIP to destroy or conceal public records that document the crimes that were carried out under his direction as Secretary of Defense. In this case, Cheney and is client corporations fear that concealing these documents under the ruse of “National Security” would only draw more public attention to the motives underlying the cover-up.

I want to know who is responsible for the banner ad....

Marketing brilliance. Who needs MSM?!

An interesting excerpt from the essay:

"With Bush’s promise that no enforcement action
would be taken against Conoco, Nicandros
planned to meet with officials of Iran’s state owned
oil company in Dubai on September 11 and 12,
1991
, to discuss Nicandros’ proposal to assist Iran
in the development of the Sirri fields."

Exactly 10 years prior to the day of 911. Coincidence?

Correction to my previous post: the president of Conoco was not on the plane that crashed, but EVP, managers and wives were on the plane. One of the EVPs, Dietrich, was the man who had in his possession incriminating evidence against GHWB.

Pic of banner ad...which totally had me perplexed when I first saw it. Conoco and Iran...huh? Of course, some people will think the flag is Mexico's and breeze right past not giving the ad a thought. Sigh.
