I have what they call a "thrombosed" hemorrhoid.
It's a giant hemorrhoid with a blood clot in it, that is being squashed constantly by my anal sphincter.
Ever had one of these bad boys?
It is about as painful as putting your balls in a vise and occasionally tightening it, worse then kidney stones, worse then a surgery I had on my eye last year.
I am in absolute misery, I want to cut the GD thing off with scissors it certainly couldn't be worse then this, but my doctor told me I have to wait a week for surgery to see if it goes away on it's own, and if not then surgery...
Have you ever begged for surgery?
I'm dying.

call your pharmacist and find out what kind of product can give you some relief. you sound like you need something for pain. do not let yourself suffer.
if you have to, go to the ER and tell them if you dont get some relief you are going to jump off of a building. they might give you a nice shot of morphine or something so you can get some rest.
always try to be kind. sometimes people can't help being wrong. |

My god, I'm already on tylenol three's...(and about three beers)...doesn't even touch the pain.
I'd take like 3 abscessed teeth over this bugger!
C'mon, someone here has to have went through this and can give me some advise...the bath helps a bit, but how long can one really sit in the bath, I already spent like three hours in there today and my wrinkles have wrinkles, you know?
Hemoroids are bad enough, I've had them most of my life and never really did much to take care of them, but I"M TELLING YOU!!! IF YOU HAVE THEM GET OVER THE EMBARRASSMENT AND GET THEM TAKEN CARE OF!!!

Trust me.
I never wanted my doc poking around down there so I kept silent for TOOOO long...

Witch Hazel. Will not cure it but take the itch away. Do not poke or prod. No lifting heavy objects. If interfering with poo or having hard time pooing drink some prune juice to get looser poo. Hard to poo normal with big bad ass hemorrhoid in the way.

My foot had to turn black with gangrene before the asshole doctors actually believed me about pain. I was in screaming, please kill me pain for a few weeks before...ridiculous.
I went to several doctors, and hospitals nearby...all thought I just wanted pain meds, yes I did I wanted someone to just kill me after a while. It was so horrible I can't think about it now.
By then it was too late and I have an amputation.
Now I have good doctors, before I didn't have a regular doctor... |

never drink alcohol with tylenol. i had a friend that almost died from doing that. they had to put him in the hospital and filter his blood with charcoal to take the tylenol out of his system. seriously!
if the roid is causing you a lot of pain due to constriction. you would need to take a blood thinner to get relief. just take a couple of aspirin. also, you can drink beer with aspirin.

I have chronic hemmoroids and I've been putting off any surgical treatment, well, just because. When I do get a flare-up however, I use a sunburn spray made by Banana Boat. It contains Lidocaine (ladocaine?) and when a saturated wad of tissue is blotted on the area it causes instant numbness. Might help.
I believe in the 2 party political process but I don't think democrats nor republicans should be either one of them. |
