Has anyone here read The Tutankhamun Prophecies by Maurice Cotterell? | |
Black 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I did about 6 years ago. donīt remember everything he said in it since iīve read so many books since. i remember, i liked about half of what he had to say. and one some things, i thought it was a stretch and a little two pop-culture 2012 gooey for my tastes. but his work on the etchings on Lord Pacalīs tomb and whatnot, and how they overlap is pretty neat, and if i remember right there is some good solar information in the back that fits well with his breakdown of the mayan īcalendarī... |

Yes, still looking at that now. Iīm a little embarrassed I just discovered this book. Of course, when it came out, I was 18. Black, any new titles on those lines to get me up to speed? |
Faydra. 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think he and Christopher Dunn are the two brightest acts to come down the woo-woo road. edit: I have mentioned him here a few times, and gotten very few repsonses. I had a decent thread going one time over Chistopher Dunn theories about the Giza Pyramid it had about 200 posts. Hell that was a Faydra record! |
Black 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have only read that one Maurice Cotterell book..i get sidetracked on what i read. along those lines. I thought Laurence Gardnerīs last book, "Secrets of the Lost Ark" <---stupid cheesey title...was good, and puts a lot of ībiblicalī history into perspective... but the mention of the archaeological stuff in Jordan, and the connection between the white powder gold from a historical context made 95%+ sense to me. and the david hudson background was quite interesting. |
Faydra. 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Laurence Gardnerīs last book, "Secrets of the Lost Ark"<<< I have this one as well, and I have been facinated with the whole white powder gold thing. Have tried to start a thread or two, that failed miserably. I swear only my Cabbage threads are a hit around here! |

Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have 2 of Cotterellīs books, "The Tutankhamun Prophecies" and "The Supergods." They are truly something. The overlaying of the etchings is amazing! Nobody can argue that he is incorrect with that. The encoded message about the Sun is found in King Tutīs tomb. Some of the numbers encoded like 144,000 in Mayan and Egyptian (and Christianity) jewelry and architechture and is beyond coincidence. I believe he has proven a link between the 2 civilizations. His research reveals that both the Maya and the Egyptians knew and understood sun spot activity and other astronomical phenomena. I am not totally convinced that we are in hell now on Earth. I do believe we reincarnate. Jesus believed in reincarnation. The church deleted that from its teachings. Most of the worldīs religions seem to believe in reincarnation. Anyone think they remember a past life? From the back cover: "The link between reincarnation and solar energy encoded in the tomb of Tut and Lord Pacal is a jealously guarded secret held by a select number of occult groups, including the higher orders of Freemasons." I would have thought this would have caused quite a stir in the scientific community. It certainly proves a direct link between the Mayans and Egyptians. Arenīt we taught there was none? That they never travelled back and forth between the Americas and Africa? |
