RE : Favourable Results from My “Black Friday” Purchases . . .
Am pleased to report favourable results (thus far) from my “Black Friday” purchases : TWO heaters.
Both seem to be working well and properly.
Now, with the benefit of those heaters, it’s possible to maintain a DAYTIME temperature range of between 67 Fahrenheit degrees . . . and 71 Fahrenheit degrees, . . . at least within TWO rooms of this residence.
That’s a range within which I can work.
Unfortunate thing is, the Kitchen is near the South-Eastern end of this place, . . . whilst I’m using a Bedroom (with an adjoining Bathroom) located on the South-Western end.
My strategy is to AVOID the North wing completely, insofar as possible. MOST of that North wing is visible in this very old photograph . . .

. . . which fails to show an additional window and a driveway on the left-hand side.
That old black-and-white pic -- which was NOT taken by me -- also fails to show that the residence itself is atop a small hill, . . . which is in turn located within the “shadow” of TWO mountains.
During the decades since that picture was taken, the trees are also bigger and much more numerous.
My South-Western bedroom is actually too large for comfortable heating purposes; . . . but the other choices are all either on the COLD North wing, . . . OR on the Lower (Downstairs) level. That Lower level is even COLDER than the North wing.
Although making these cold rooms livable once again is a PROCESS rather than an EVENT, . . . I CAN see -- and feel -- a forward momentum.
The heaters purchased on “Black Friday” are making a HUGE difference :!:
