Sensing a weakness of will, hostile nations appear to be ganging up on America. Some consider the United States a second-rate power. Are we a nation
Alan Webber is founding editor of the business magazine Fast Company. On a recent business trip to Europe he heard some disturbing thoughts about the United States. At one gathering in Austria the comments came in the form of laments. "You used to be such a great country…What happened to the great idea that once defined America?"

Consider Mr. Webber's personal comment on America, looking at the country from afar: "You realize how far the United States has drifted from its promise, how large the gap is between what we profess and what we do…how diminished our economic superiority has become; and how worn our once impeccable image has become."

The dollar is currently viewed as a second-rate currency in Europe. The euro is looked at as towering over the once vaunted American dollar. Alan Webber asked: "Is there a point where diminished prestige actually becomes diminished economic leadership?"

Summing up, he concluded: "In America, it's business as usual. We've simply learned to accept our way of life, rather than confronting the reality of our decline. Maybe that's what happens to once-rich, once-powerful superpowers as they gradually decline. They lose track of their own standards"

Late last year Harvard historian Niall Ferguson labeled America as "the nation that fell to earth." In terms of dwindling domestic and international support, the war in Iraq is gradually becoming another Vietnam. In addition, what is currently occurring elsewhere on the international stage highlights the overall problem.

Everything changed in Florida 2000. We have been going down ever since. Bush could care less about the dollar slide, rising gas prices, or the credit crunch. He never mentions these pressing issues because it has no effect on him. He and his people do not care and all Americans will suffer for his lack of action on issues that are important to our once great nation. Remember when he was elected 911 didnt yet happen our economy was booming, a barrel of oil was $18, and we had a multi billion dollar budget surplus. Now, well you know what things are like now. When are the Bush supporters going to admit that they fucked all of us. Remember the rest of the world hates Bush and thinks he is an imbecile.

The congress has to take a lot of the blame also. They refuse to do anything to straighten this mess out. Why should they since just about everyone of them can be sent to jail if a light were ever exposed on their rats nest.

Instead they idle away their time passing such useless and intrusive legislation such as "Hate crime bills" for their real masters Israel. Or Gun control leglislation. Then they pretend they don't see the secret government holding meeting to form the North American Union. Not once would they ever look at the banking industry fraud. Not once would they look at the out of control corporations. Not once would they look at no-bid contracts. Not once would they look at why the black ops answers to no one.

Agreed. However any dissent against this administration's wayward policies was ridiculed in the press and a lot of these folks in congress are no doubt compromised.

This is what's up next:

"Yes, war will come to you; this time, for an ideal that perhaps seems
unimportant, but is not. It is the subsistence of those who have depleted their
resources for the same reason: for creating weapons to destroy each other. The
largest country in the East, allied with other powers who have always wanted the
power and the destruction of the United States, will begin soon to attack this
nation. When it begins to see itself at a disadvantage, it will compel the
remaining countries of this continent who have signed its pact, to ally
themselves in the destruction. "

America has begun the irreversible and treacherous slide towards race wars...the successful balkanization innitiated by the darkest powers of the multinational ruling elite. The dollar will continue to die. A national I.D. card will be initiated 11 May 08; the influx of illeagals/i.d. theft crime and disease will increase exponentially justifying the angel chip, those unwilling to submit to implants and so called vaccines will be deemed a threat & sent to FEMA work camps.

I too have spent time in the int'nl halls where global policy is cast... For the survival of those unable to leave america please research the policies of the World Health Organization, F.E.M.A., The Bilderberg Group and the current N.A.S.A. research "Dawn" of our newest planet (brown dwarf?) Eris ... --- Nibiru.

Keep an Eye on yor most favored nation trade status partner CHINA.

The theory that taking land in modern warfare is obsolete is now ... obsolete.

True enough, our congress is complicit in our demise. Don't forget that they were threatened with Anthrax. One of the only Senators who had the balls to question the terror regime - Mark Dayton - was widely ridiculed and basically hounded from office.

No such thing as "nations".

If the elected representatives of a nation don't have control over the issue of their own currency then they aren't a nation.

This rule applies to every "nation" on earth.

Hence, no nations.

There is nothing "new" about "world order". You're been living it since day one.

aT NO TIME in current kown history have so many lives hung in the balance of the actions of the current rulers .. two thirds of this planet can be turned to a glass parkinglot within an hour and a half. Like there are a lot of options still open to the peasants. I didn't see you offer a solution.

We have the vote. RP seems to be the last hope but thats if the elections are even legit. Otherwise it all falls on Putins to possibly get the U.S. to come to its senses.

Don't forget that right before 9/11 they had annouced trillions of dollars missing from the pentagon's budget. Then a few years later there was more trillions missing. Where did that money go? Just what have they buy with it? They may be more things to control us then we could ever imagine.
